Overview

Penderyn produces award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits at their distillery in 'waterfall country' in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. Distilling started in 1999, and the first bottle was produced in 2004 in the presence of Prince Charles. Since then the distillery has gone from strength to strength and now exports the world over. Penderyn whiskies are spirits are also available across the UK in supermarkets, premium liquor stores, and online. We have an award-winning Visitor Centre and Shop and offer one hour tours or 2.5 hour masterclasses. Tour are available 7 days a week and cost £9.00 for adults. Masterclasses are held over the weekends and cost £45.

Made a detour to visit this distillery in Wales to meet in real this unique environment. The plave offers a large range of products in their shop, very friendly staff. I can call myself the proud owner of an original Welsh whiskey.

Visited the distillery for a masterclass with my wife. Well worth it - really interesting talk and the added opportunity of a few samples during it and then down to the bar to try the rest of the range at the end!!
