The place is small, but the key highlight is that you get to stroke a seal during feeding time. There’s about 5 feeding times throughout the day. 10.30, 11.30 and so on. Parking is free. Entrance fee is 200 yen per adult.

If you are in Monbetsu, it's worth taking a quick look at this facility. There are some seals in about four little pools. You can watch them swimming around and if you time your visit well you can see them being fed.
