About Wild Orkney Walks
My name is Megan and I am Wild Orkney Walks. I am passionate about Orkney's walks, wildlife and the great outdoors. Living in Orkney for over 10 years, I have gained valuable experience and knowledge through the tourism industry and as a volunteer with local conservation groups. One of my great passions is the story of the White Tailed Eagle's return to Hoy. I love being outdoors and sharing my enthusiasm and love of Orkney's wildlife with people.

Recommend a walk Wild Orkney. Megan is a knowledgeable and friendly with a true passion for the natural world. We had a fascinating 2 hour walk at the RSPB reserve at Ring of Brodgar learning about plants and birds. Megan shared tips on other places to visit.

An excellent walk around Orphir and Swanbister - Megan's Hidden Gem Swanbister Circular Walk. Megan is a knowledgeable and engaging guide and we found a wide variety of plants and birds on this varied walk on Megan's home patch. Easy paced walk giving plenty of time to explore and enjoy the local wildlife. Megan was also very helpful suggesting other places to visit on the Mainland and other Islands

Lovely easy walking cliff top walk from Burwick on gentle South Ronaldsay with expert guide Megan pointing out all sorts of plants and sea birds and seals that would have otherwise passed us by. Great views of Pentland Firth, Hoy and Scapa Flow.
