Good fun but need to improve safety and facilities
Really great family fun. We consisted of two adults, two 10 year olds and a 12 year old. A good range of inflatables for a variety of ages and abilities. Something for everyone in our group. Easy online booking system. Good value for money. My only reasons for not giving a 5 star rating were 1) the changing facilities are not great - a white marquee tent acting as a single sex communal changing space with no heating or shower facilities. A short walk away there is a block to shower in but again this is communal and no curtain / screen on the shower. They were also in need of more regular cleaning - shower in sliders or Crocs! 2) there was a lack of safety checking at the start as we were told to grab our own buoyancy aids. The staff didn’t check to make sure they were the correct fit or fastened correctly. I would expect that they should have the experience and training as members of staff and the company should have due diligence to ensure safety.

    Great time out with kids
We had a fantastic time at the aqua park. The thing that stood out for me was the staff service. The young man at reception was very friendly and helpful as well the young lady that was showing us the safety video. All smiles and friendly not like some places where you get miserable staff. One thing I would suggest though is not to arrive 45 minutes before as specified in the confirmation with 2 over excited kids that then have to wait around until ready to go on. 20 minutes before would be adequate to get changed and be ready. Overall quite a clean place, just some greenery growing in the inflatable pyramid type things that could do with a clean!

    Value for money family fun.
Excellent family fun. We had a 2 hour session. Prepare to be tired by the end, but thoroughly fulfilled. Visited with my wife, son 15 and daughter 11. My wife sat in the sunshine on the bank of the reservoir and took the pictures whilst we went on the inflatables. Good wet fun for all ages.

What an absolutely brilliant day! Venue was signposted well. Staff were friendly. Facilities were good.
The Aqua Park was a real fun experience however it is hard work to climb and get back onto obstacles when you end up in the water so expect a work out and i promise you will end up in the water a lot! ;-)
I would also recommend water shoes. The park provide wet suits and life jackets.
There is space for people to watch who are not actually taking part. There is a cafe there however the queue was immense so i would recommend you take drinks and a snack for after. Also don't forget your towel and something warm to wear after as the water is cold and you will feel it after there are some showers available. An absolutely fantastic experience, myself and my partner haven't laughed so much in ages, it was like being an oversized child again!! A*

The aqua park in Rutland Water is a professional well run aqua park that prioritises safety but also having fun, When on my session the lifeguards ensured the safety of me and and my friends as well as letting us get thrill of jumping off inflatables. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us and i would recommend buying the season pass as it is a bargain for everything that comes with it.
The website was easy to use and sessions are easy to set up.
Every year I come the water park adds more and more and every year i doubt an hour is enough time but by the end i’m absolutely shattered. Do not miss out this summer!

Seem to spend every week there during the summer! The children of all ages love it. It great because you can take a picnic, do other activities such as paddle boarding and canoeing, which are very reasonably priced, and can walk or cycle around beautiful Rutland Water. Even the dog loves it!

Booked my 3 boys an hour session. Arrived 20 mins late due to traffic/direction problems. The website stated that it's the site manager's decision to decide if wetsuits must be worn depending on the weather so i was very surprised when we were told we have to spend another 7.50 each on wetsuits as it was 25c, very warm. Finally after squeezing on the wetsuits (wrong size was given to one of us)we had only 15mins remaining and were told its not worth going on now, ? Then were told no refunds can be given . To summarise....we spent 60 pounds for 3 tickets then forced to hire 3x wetsuits, another 22 pounds then told not to go on after getting changed then told no refunds. This is by far the worst way I have ever been treated by any company in my life.

My sister and I were on holiday near by. My grandparents treated us to a day out at Rutland Waters, we enjoyed ourselves very much so much so we paid to go on again. Everything was provided for us. There were changing rooms and showers, there were plenty of lifeguards on duty. Afterwards we went in and had a drink and a snack to eat. We will never forget our day.

Great fun for the kids. Less fun for adults wanting to contact them. No phone line. Email answers are hit and miss on the length of reply time. Improvement needed. Don't let it put you off going. Just hope you don't need any further assistance in a hurry.

Booked the aquapark in Rutland for my partner and 2 boys. We arrived to find that I'd made a mistake in the booking and there was no space to book on to the session. My boys were devastated (exacerbated by having friends booked on to the same session). I was almost in tears until Connor came to the rescue and sorted everything out for us. I won't go into details only to say that this was one of the most fantastic demonstrations of customer service that I have ever seen. Connor is such a wonderful ambassador for this business and he dealt calmly and professionally with our predicament. This isn't an easy feat when you are working in a newly reopened business - dealing with the multiply additional demands of a post covid world.

As for the park itself - it's truly impressive. We've done similar activities before but the scale of Rutland blows the others out of the water (excuse the pun). They had a wonderful time. I felt that the activity was extremely covid secure with a well managed process for sterilising the wet suits after use.

This is such good fun for children and teenagers. The young staff are absoutely lovely and professional. We really enjoy watching our teenagers having a great time with their friends. For a second year running we have purchased season tickets and they are great value.

i took my eldest and her friends, they’ve loved it. facility, equipment, safety briefing was spot on.the youngest who was too young to take part was bored stiff. brought enough entertainment and food etc but wasn’t enough. could be fun watching the participants on a big screen though rather than pointing at little dots. look forward to another year of fun.

Me and my cousins went to this aqua park after not talking for a few months and it was great to bring us together and to build teamwork. All of the activities were very fun and the slides and jumps were worth climbing up for. Would definitely come here again, make sure you jump off otherwise you’ll regret it! It’s so fun. I rated it 4/5 stars because the water smelt bad and tasted really horrible when it went up my nose! But it can’t really be helped so I can’t judge the overall experience based on this. Would recommend!!!
