Recommended by locals for good food. Didn't disappoint. friendly staff. Good value for money. Not just a golf course, don't need to be a member, just call and book a table.

First class golf course and restaurant.
Great value for days golf and dining. Well worth a visit.

One of the best courses I've played, it was brilliant, we purchased a day ticket for a 2 ball and a buggy, we arrived to tea and bacon rolls, then we did our first round on what I can only describe as an immaculately well kept and cleverly designed course, we returned to the clubhouse for lunch which was all included in the price, the clubhouse so homely and very welcoming and all the staff, members and other visitors we met were extremely friendly, the food was amazing and it was a brilliant atmosphere within the clubhouse, the kind of place you really want to be part of as a member, the buggies were clean and, we definately expected the course to be soggy after the rain in the prevoius days, but we were pleasantly surprised as to how dry the course was and the greens were immaculate and pure, just a pleasure to play on, we picked a beautiful autumnal day to play and we had the sun all day, i just wish the following days weather was to be good as we would have played again it was that good, I will definately be back, and will have no hesitation in recommending The Strathmore Golf Centre to others, a glorious place to play

The course is great, the food is fabulous and the staff very friendly. Well worth a visit, we always make sure we visit when near the area.

Just visited golf course is excellent but the food is exceptional a must try is the scorpion sauce the staff are very friendly and welcoming a must visit

We popped over for a game via teeofftimes.com. Good prices. Very nice staff here both in the starter box and restaurant. The course is in great condition. It’s scenic with nice countryside views in all directions. There are some lovely planted features and areas.
Each hole is different. I would say it’s tough for ladies with some long holes. Although the holes look quite benign there are very well placed bunkers. Also the fairway setup of the first and second cut mean that being off-line means a tough recovery from the juicy grass.
Enjoyable round followed by a nice meal in the clubhouse.

Another 'Grand Day Out' on the interesting, well presented Rannaleroch Course, followed by an excellent meal served up by polite staff. the food here is always excellent and there is a substantial a la Carte menu available, as well as apres Golf Munchies such as Pie, Beans and Chips etc.. I put it down to a well managed establishment, the proof of that is in the number of outings which are run and the numerous satisfied diners in the pleasant surroundings. Definitely one of my favourite Golf courses and restaurant in the Heartlands of Scotland.

Lovely layout and well kept golf course. Clubhouse always good menu with plenty of choice and the service is always first class. One of our favourite golfing destinations.
