Scenic n clear direction to the spring water source
Dec 2019 • Couples
Went there in winter n many parts of the park were closed off. Still able to collect spring water. Good tasting water n clear signs to the spring water source. It's a short 10mins walk from visitor centre n car park.

Park is very scenic, beautiful n quiet. Worth a visit.

Pure spring water with scenic park
Mar 2019 • Family
We had quite a hard time finding this park coz its winter and many road was closed.
But finally managed to found it.
It was exciting as this is my first spring water park experience in Japan.
The water was crystal clear and taste so sweet!
Dont forget to take a few empty bottles with you. We managed to take 4 big bottles with us and filled it with the spring water for our trips in Hokkaido.
No entrance and parking fees.

Beautiful park!
Jun 2019 • Couples
What a beautiful park with gushing fresh spring water you can actually drink from. We planned on staying an hour but ended up spending almost three because it was so picturesque! And also because we wanted to capture long-exposure photos of the streams and little waterfalls and the tourists kept walking on the platform causing it to vibrate and photos to come out blurry. Despite the large groups of people that came and went, it was still a peaceful park. Try walking along the river and out towards the other side of the park where less people ventured, but it still lovely to photograph or just walk around.

Tasty, Pure Spring Water! Free Spring Water, Admission & Car Park!
May 2019 • Couples
A very relaxing & pleasant visit with lake, river, waterfall, gardens with 33 status of Goddess of Mercy. Park is not very big but kept in pristine condition despite the huge number of visitors, who are mostly here to taste the spring water. PVC pipes are placed to make it convenient for visitors to fill their water bottles with the spring water. The ice-cold spring water tasted very refreshing.
Admission & car park are free.
Worth a visit!

Water never tasted so good and the setting?
May 2019 • Couples
What a unique experience. The spring water runs down the mountain, over small falls and into a gorgeous little spring lake. To one side is a shute where water is directed to enable visitors a sampling. We've never tasted water so pure and sweet. Many locals and many many restaurants bring large plastic containers, some huge, and collect the water for personal use.
Big tick to the Japanese for ensuring Fukidashi Park remains in such pristine condition and enforce their rules and regulations re hygiene etc.

Drank From The Spring
Jun 2018 • Family
Too bad on that day we couldn't enjoy seeing Mt Yotei at the backdrop of Fukidashi Park due to heavy fog at the mountain peak as suggested by bloggers but we did what we wanted to do; drank spring water from the wooden pipe. The water was fresh and cold, and we decided to pour away our boiled water from hotel and filled up our water bottle with this spring water. Well it is just cold fresh water but the thought able to drink this natural, unprocessed water was blissful.

Collect spring water
Jun 2018 • Family
The spring water was cold and fresh. Also clear of sediments. Simply amazing. We filled a 1.5L bottle and found it insufficient. Would recommend to empty all water bottles and refill it with this spring water

Very nice scenery during winter. Also you must drink the spring water here. So fresh and nice. Don't forget your tumbler.

Do not miss this park!
Oct 2017 • Friends
This park is well thronged by tour buses as it is a free park. Most tour buses park in the main coach car park and let their passengers visit the well known fresh water springs. The spring water gushing out from the springs are refreshing and cold. The area is beautiful except for the crowd. Reminds me of Oshino Hakkai which is another spring water place thronged with tour buses.

Why do I like this place so much despite the crowds? Because hidden behind the well-visited spring water park is another park fed with the same spring water but not visited by the crowds. This park is accessible only if you park in the secondary car park and walk down the slope from the car park. This park is stunningly beautiful and even though it is not a big park, we spent quite some time there taking pictures without any other people in the background or fighting with people for the best angle. Those on tour bus may not have time to explore this hidden park so it is missed by most visitors. Perfect for those who like beautiful places which look like it existed only for you!

Fantasy scene
Oct 2017
Gorgeous in any season - gushing waters tumbling over rocks green (not winter!) with plants and moss - it looks like a fantasy movie location..you expect water sprites and unicorns to step out of the forest. What you actually see is hoards of Japanese visitors coming with plastic buckets and bottles to collect the famous spring water. You can buy the water containers nearby and take some yourself. Short walk from the parking area, some steps.
