田舎館村と言えば、有名になった「田んぼアート」です。10年以上前から開催された田んぼアートは、年を追う毎に精巧になり芸術的な領域となっています。これが全て、種類の違う稲の色分けを微妙に配置して植えられているアート作品なのです。第1会場がここ田舎館村役場の展望台ですが、天守閣みたいな展望台から下の田んぼアートを見る形となります。 以前から一度寄ってみたいと思っていましたので、青森ねぶたの帰りに訪れました。夏休みでもあり50分待ちでした。特に土日はもっと時間がかかるみたいです。料金は200円。エレベーターで展望台へ。ポスターや写真で見るより、やはりスケール感が違います。迫力がスゴイです。細かい部分まで再現されており、今年の「風と共にさりぬ」は素晴らしい出来でした。是非とも10月21日まで開催されているので、機会がある方は実物を見て欲しいものです。

Center of the Inakadate village, There is the village office ,it looks like a castle. The top of the office, there is observation deck . So,you can look out The art on the rice field,made with rice from May to September.

I was a local resident of the neighbouring city, Kuroishi. I think the best seasons are August or September , especially September. The important thing is to visit before the harvesting and usually it's in late September.
