Thoroughly recommended this ski academy, especially for families with kids (our 14 and 9yo). The whole culture of this organisation is friendly and customer centric. Even the ski coaches in for the season are fun loving, positive, passionate skiers and excellent coaches.
We were with another school in a neighbouring resort for our first day in Hakuba and the contrast in styles is stark!
Luckily Peter and the team got us all motivated and improving in no time.
They have quite a big office and are very happy to let you store your gear here while you ski.
They respond pretty quickly to chat messages on Facebook.
Look no further, book with these guys n gals, who are a local ski school not just international folks who drop in for the season.
There is local ski equipment hire at the resort and you can get a discount voucher from the school if you buy lessons.

Great value for money private lessons. Our teacher, Marie, was absolutely excellent; incredibly encouraging and enthusiastic. Overall we had an excellent experience and would thoroughly recommend.

I signed up for an intermediate group snowboarding lesson as a refresher after having not snowboarded for at least 5 years. It turned out to be a private lesson with Ben as there were no other participants.
I was unsure whether I would remember how to snowboard after a number of years but Ben was always encouraging and was quick to identify to mistakes and bad habits I was making. His advice and attitude to simply have fun made the 2-hour lesson enjoyable and it was a great time of getting to know Ben during that short period of time as well.

I have just finished 4 days of 2 hour group lessons and have learnt so much from Kina and Theo our instructors. I was a nervous novice. On 2 days it was just 2 of us in the group. I can now ski and have had such fun learning.
My two sons aged 7 & 8 have had the time of their lives and LOVED Frank Club. They had never skied and by day two they were skiing down the mountain! My eldest said he has had the best day ever he’s ever had on day three, after confidently skiing down the hill and using the ski lifts.
All the instructors are friendly, patient, kind, flexible and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much bother for any of the team. We are definitely coming back next year. Thanks so much guys, you have changed our family winter holidays, we will now be skiing every year!

We signed up with Hakuba47 4-hour private training for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 6). We have never skiied before but Ben was very patient with us. He was encouraging and was able to cater to our pace. At the end of the session, all of us have managed to ski down from beginner slope and the adults learned to turn one direction. We enjoyed the session very much!

We are a family of 6 ppl , we took 2hr session , 2 days. we are beginner so 2 hr were enough . the payment paid online. so overall we all were happy.

I took a half day snowboard lesson with Ben. He was clear with his instructions, patient and encouraging! I would highly recommend him as an instructor!

Thank you very much to Marie for the ski lessons in french language to our 2 daughters from Tahiti (7 and 9 years old) who would have wanted to continue somes others days more. Thank you also for your kindness, we were happy to meet you.
Thank you also to all the team of others teachers who were having lunch with them for teaching them some Japanese words and write their names!
Very nice little family school, with nice people, ideal to let your kids in confidence.

Needed help with recollecting the basic skills since we haven’t snowboarded in half a decade. We took the 2 hour private class with Marie and she was excellent! She made sure each and every one of us learned the skill exactly before moving on to the next one. Even though we had different level of skills, she still guided us to the optimal level. Thank you! It was worth the money.

We are a group of four and Marie helped us to learn how to snowboard according to our current skill.
2 hour lesson is good for first timer! It’s going to be exhausting.
