We came by here for a day during the bad season of 2015/16. By late-march Happo One resort were downloading the gondola due to lack of snow. 47 seemed to be retaining the snow better because of the orientation of the mountain. Spring riding here was fun here, and the park was a great change. It wasn't overly busy at... More

This is one of the resorts in the Hakuba Valley and each resort offers something unique. I was able to get to this resort from it's sister resort Gyoru by taking one of the lift across and riding down. Hakuba 47 has more terrain parks and moguls for those that are trying to practice. It's a smaller resort compared to... More

Loved it all, with wide long runs green and Blue allows beginners to learn and advance their skills so easily as of my wife and her friend they have never done t before and after 4 days they have made such an improvement that was never going to happen in the Australian resorts.

Visited the Hakuba Valley in late March 2016, Snow was apparently a little light in comparison to other years, but out of all the resorts in the valley this was my preferred choice and far superior to Happo-One. Good trick park (although with long queues) and sweet variety of terrain and some challenging double diamond black runs. Would definitely return..

We are visiting Hakuba in the first week of April and even though a lot of the snow on the lower slopes has melted away, there is still plenty of snow and suitable runs for beginners at Hakuba 47.

Some nice runs despite this not being the best of seasons. Great restaurant at top of the gondola with outside seating on a sunny day. Loved the terrain park - shortish but a range of features to hit. Especially loved the knowledgable line up - everyone waiting for the jumps / features to clear before dropping. Awesome!

Love this mountain. Not my favorite but very good and worth the trip. Up top on a powder day is just sublime. Try the pizza near the gondola

The green run down from the top of Goryu to the bottom of 47 was so much fun. And the backdrop is absolutely amazing. Just make sure you bomb the hill at the end before the top station gondola otherwise you will have a bit of a walk ahead of you. It's a bit of a mission to get back... More

Returned recently for my 2nd visit. Great for borders, nice runs and connected to Goruy, so there is plenty to do. Facilities are great and everything works like clockwork, as do most things in Japan. Conditions obviously depend on weather, as with any ski resort.
