Visited in early June with family.Slight drizzle and cold weather probably around 5-10deg C...nice stop to buy sourvenirs before going on the Goko trails.

We strolled along with boardwalk to see different parts of the park. It's lovely to see you completely untouched by human hands. The lakes are pretty but the bugs long of a walk or a nuisance. Just be prepared.

It was astounding to be able to enjoy our scenic, easy walk on an elevated walkway with electric fence against brown bear in this UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. The unspoilt nature and fresh air fills the atmosphere. Ample parking spaces are available.

highly recommended. Our guide Kohki Suganuma was simply the best! Pleasant. funny, careful about the bears. good english and highly informative. I never thought I would enjoy the 3 hour walk so much ! Highly recommended.
