About
We begin with field birdsong in morning of Tokachi Hills. When morning positive zashitotomoni flower begins to stretch itself like a brick, Slow time begins with flavor of bread hot from the oven. Please feel time working relaxedly. Cloud floating in the heavens, refreshing wind, Everything moves slowly slowly. Leave the body to such inside. We can fully take in nature. Please have vegetables having just finished being produced on the spot. Surely it will be to be surely impressed. That's right, this is because splendid natural taste makes. We want to give impression of half-forgotten nature to many people alone. Flower and meal and theme park of agriculture, Tokachi Hills think.

It was my first visit here. There are so many kinds of flowers and the flowers were so beautiful, probably because they are well maintained. It was a hot day because of the big trees and the shade, but the wind was nice and it didn't feel that hot. It is a good garden to go around slowly while watching beautiful flowers. I think 2,000 yen is a good deal for admission to three facilities with a Tokachi flower tour.

I visited on a tour of the Garden Road. Visit in 105 minutes including free lunch. It was a hot and sunny day in Obihiro with a maximum temperature of 30 degrees. This is a food and farming theme park run by a local bean wholesaler. We saw the various flowers in the seven gardens and stopped by ponds, restaurants, cafes and kiosks. Lunch using vegetables and herbs harvested in the park was also delicious.

We had lunch at the Hungarian place. The grilled fish was very good, with a buffet for vegetable, drinks and dessert. I heard all the food served in the restaurant was from the farm. I wish we had more time to walk around the farm. There were nice flowers and a nice view tot he valley.

Following a rough grid pattern, this garden is the most open of all that I visited. It incorporates some English country garden features but still retains a Japanese aesthetic in its design... I enjoyed the sky mirror garden and the planting that incorporates the expansive land beyond into the design. A beautiful outing.

This is a very large garden & not typically Japanese. In Autumn there were still many flowers to be seen, including salvias & very large hydrangeas.

Visited mid June just after the heat wave ended, so mostly we see green with some flowers here and there. You need to buy a ticket to go in. We didnt have a lot of time so didnt try the hungarian restaurants, but the soft serve is ok. There is a drinkable spring water outside.

The place is beautiful though many flowers yet to bloom. Many sakura trees were still blooming. It will be better to visit in summer when flowers ready to bloom. The ice-cream have 2 flavours, milk and red bean (350yen each), rich in taste. Worth a visit.

Tokachi Hills is a garden-themed attraction that is reminiscent of the “western” sort of garden, with floral displays as well as fountains and ponds scattered throughout the gardens. There is an entrance fee of about 500yen per adult to enter the attraction, which I think is quite reasonable. I got a bit lost, since the visitor maps and signs around the gardens are in Japanese; and sometimes I really have no idea what flower I’m looking at because there were either no signs or they were in Japanese.
