Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This castle was built as the third castle of the Later Hojo clan after Odawara and Hachioji, and its strength can be seen from the fact that it withstood the fierce attacks of the Maeda, Uesugi, and Tokugawa armies, who took Hachioji Castle in one day, for three months. On the vast grounds, you can still see the remains of huge piles of earthworks, deep moats, and many enclosures. On the grounds that are said to be the palace grounds, there is a stone monument with a Chinese poem by Tayama Katai describing the castle's grandeur and history, and written by Mushanokoji Saneatsu. We used the free parking lot in front of the history museum, but there are several other free parking lots available. Although the original buildings no longer remain, some have been reproduced in the style of the time, and the castle ruins were very impressive, including the remaining ruins and the view overlooking the Arakawa River.

Manage to jog here to scout out the place. Do note it’s castle remains, therefore there ain’t any castle. It’s more like a beautiful park with signs to show you the foundations of the place and how they built it. Extremely peaceful.
