神戸岩ロッジを抜けたところにあるトイレ付き駐車場から、10分もかからず最後まで歩けます。が、道中、急なハシゴあり、人が一人鎖をつたってやっと通れる足場の悪い岩場を歩き、今にも崩れそうな木の板の橋を渡り、まさに自然がおりなすアスレチックです。
服装は登山ウェア、スポーツウェアだと安心です。靴は距離は短いですが登山靴ならより安定感があるかも。スニーカーでも良いですが滑らないように気を付けて。
荷物もできるだけ少なく、リュックか手ぶらで。ポケットのものが落ちないように注意です。
短いで区間ですが、神秘的な大岩をくぐりながら渓谷を歩くと気持ちがスッと浄化される気がします。
ここに来るまでは仕事のことで悩み少し気が晴れなかったのにこの岩場に来た途端、気持ちがスッキリとしたのがなんとも不思議でした。

正面にそびえる大きな神戸岩に向かって道を上がっていき、トイレのある駐車場に車を停める。少し歩いて上ると橋があり、美しい渓流が。橋の手前に渓流に沿って散策路があります。梯子や鎖場などちょっと怖い感じですが、渓流に沿って5分ほど登って行けます。綺麗な水が流れる渓谷は素晴らしい自然の彫刻。

神戸岩は「かのといわ」という変わった読み方です。檜原村の北にありますが、パワースポットらしく、東京都の天然記念物にも指定されています。入り口にあたるのが、ロッヂ神戸岩というキャンプ場で、そこを突っ切った先にあります。往復で20分くらいですが、途中にトンネルをくぐったり、鎖場や滝があったり、少しスリルを味わえます。どれが神戸岩かよく分かりませんでしたが、こあたり全般を大嶽神社の入り口という意味で神戸岩と呼ぶようです。

渓谷自体は短いものですが、岩がそそり立ち、ハシゴを登って鎖場を伝って歩くのでヒールとかでは無理です。さらに濡れていると滑ります。入り口の看板はのどかですが、それなりの覚悟が必要です（笑）もうちょっと案内が必要なんじゃないかと思いました。車の場合少し手前に駐車場があります。トイレも綺麗になりました。

日曜日、武蔵五日市駅前6:33発(始発)の藤倉行き(五18)に乗って神戸岩入り口まで。所要時間20分ほどです。
降りたらバスルートから離れて北秋川沿いに上流方向へ道なりに2キロちょっとで到着です。緩やかな登りなのでゆっくり歩いても40分は掛からないかな。
私の場合は７時半ごろ到着して先客は一人だけ。大きな岩の裂け目からゴウゴウと水が流れる様を満喫できました。
隣のトンネル通るときは天井から水が滴り落ちるので要注意です。照明はなく真っ暗で垂れてくる場所もよくわからないので濡れるのが苦手な方は傘をさしましょう。
行きと同じく武蔵五日市駅へ戻る人は8:49発がオススメです。

狭いところだけれど岩場をつたって川沿いを歩くのがとても楽しかった。もちろん涼しい。ただ足を踏み外すと危険なので子供は要注意です。

都内唯一の村、檜原村！滝が多く１日では回りきれないほど！その中でもただの滝ではない！高さ20m程ある岩の割れ目にある滝！

北秋川に沿って走ると、神戸岩への分岐があります。そこから細い道を車で走ると神戸岩に。駐車場とも出ていないですが、トイレ前の空き地に車を止めて岩の方へ向かいます。遊歩道というには滝やちょっとした急流の脇のがけにハシゴや鎖を伝いながらのビビりそうな足場ですが、夏は涼味満点で気持ちいいですね。帰りも同じ道をたどるのかと思ったら、右側に駐車場方面に向かうトンネルがあったのでよかったです。

足場が悪いように見える、でもきちんと整備されている渓谷を歩きます。10分程度ですがとても楽しいです。涼しくて癒されました

近くのキャンプ場で1泊したときに訪れました。ひんやりとした空気がとても気持ち良かったです。梯子を登ったり細い石垣を歩いたり軽いアスレチックみたいで子供がとても喜んでいました。
