This is a blast of a beach. Have only visited it in winter and spring time though so have always had it to ourselves kind of. But what’s wrong with that. Turquoise clear blue water and guaranteed sightings of fishes and plenty other marine life...More

I had a fantastic experience on Aharen Beach. It had almost everything I could have hoped for at a tropical beach. The beach was broad and clean with powdery sand that was comfortable to walk and sit on. The water was amazing; crystal clear, calm...More

Stayed for five days in Aharen. Very clean and soft sand. Can be crowded on some days. Lots of activities available, and a few restaurants close by. Worth a visit if you are staying in Tokashiki port.

If you want to go where all the tourists are bussed in this is it. It has soft sand, showers-lockers you pay for and bathrooms. You can pretty much rent or buy anything you need.

The Yellow Submarine based at Araren Beach was a excellent tour and we saw sea turtles ad a multitude of fish, seaweed beds and coral.

Turquoise coloured water and a white sandy beach. Aharen. A beautiful beach on a Tokashiki Jima. If you come out of season you might have it all to your self. What could possible be better? It is so quiet and clean. Fantastic place.

Aharen Beach is the place to go. Uncluttered. Minimal crowd. Great lookout area on the far right side of the beach. Worth the day spent sunning and swimming.

Of course I left my belongings on the beach!! And while I was swimming I periodically looked over at them. Japan is an amazingly safe country. You can do this. But that's not to say that things never get stolen. They do... More

I guess you can't, but there is a camp site next to the beach. It's a public one but you need to pay and less facilities like cold shower. But one special, if you stay there your tent will be a closer accommodation than any... More
