Part of the coastal walk or like us you can park close by the bridge and walk a little way along the coast. Modern bridge worth a look and set close to coast and by a small lake good place for picnics.

Not that easy to find if you are unfamiliar with New Plymouth. Knowing roughly where I was going followed the road signs which ran out in a paddock area. Figured it out that I would keep driving down the road which has multiple speed bumps....More

Rate payers must of been hosed when the council did this one....... a bridge in a paddock..... why????? More $ should of gone toward the beach front or something else. Couldn’t see the point of it.

Not the biggest or the longest etc... but a beautiful sight... fantastic peice of engineering and integrated into the landscape perfectly... worthwhile visiting...

The Bridge itself is a marvel in it's own right, but the surrounding walkways are equally beautiful.

Visiting this bridge is a must do when in New Plymouth. Not only is it a visual treat in itself but on a nice day it frames the mountain beautifully so is perfect for photos. Also, it is part of the Coastal Walkway. Don't miss...More
