Description:

At Two Hands Wines we offer our guests a unique Cellar Door experience...

At Two Hands Wines we offer our guests a unique Cellar Door experience through a structured but relaxed tasting with our knowledgeable and friendly team at our home in Marananga in the Barossa Valley.

Kraehe House, a late 19th century stone cottage with its adjoining bakehouse, is open for tastings and sales from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week (except Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day). With the state of the art interior complemented by the stunning tasting deck at the back of the building, our Marananga home provides a beautiful setting amongst the vineyards of the Western Ranges.

Our Cellar Door experience is focused on offering visitors an intimate, informative tasting of the wines throughout our portfolio, from the Picture Series through to our Flagship Series wines. With the ‘Showroom Only’ wines and the latest offerings from the Twelftree range of Grenaches, there is always something new to sample.

A modest fee of $10 is charged when participating in a structured tasting, and after being hosted through their tasting experience, guests will be given a complimentary tasting glass, printed with the Two Hands logo and packaged in a bespoke canister to take away with them as a memento of their visit to our Cellar Door.

We also offer more exclusive experiences such as our Vineyard Experiences and bespoke tours.

Long been fans of Two Hands wines having first visited when the cellar door was a tin shed. My how she has grown but one thing has not changed, the quality of the wines! Just a terrific tasking experience and wines that just get better and better. Cellar door staff are so knowledgeable and "persuasive". Move over Grange, come on... More

I liked the set up. You go outside and they bring the wine to you. Ours was fantastic weather, so outside was great. With them bringing the wine to you slowed the tasting pace which is also a good thing Had a nice time and they let us try several of the old vine wines, which were quite good

The tasting facility is in a beautiful building with a choice of both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is on a pretty patio or on the grass below. They offer a tasting flight. The whole experience is informative and the wines we tasted offer a broad selection of what's on offer. Some of the wine were excellent This is certainly... More

Classy tasting room, very nice service, matched with good wines.... What more could you ask for,?. Top of the range are pricey ($165) but the mid range shiraz (Bella's Garden at $60 a highlight) are pretty fine.

Love the way that Two Hands organise their tasting. You pay $10 but if you have the time and don't mind if it gets busy, the whole experience is really outstanding. We were served by Mason, whose passion and knowledge about the wines at the cellar door ( and wine making in general) was fantastic but all the cellar door... More

This was a winery widely recommended to us and from first approach it was plain that someone is very smart and has got the formula for a cellar door very right! Everything, the signage, the location and the building is very well done. And the greeting was perfect. It looked perfect. but... It was busy and there was only room... More

I visited Two Hands at the beginning of December. Mason, who ran our tasting, was incredibly knowledgable and engaging, which made Two Hands wine tasting by far the best experience we had whilst in the Barossa. He guided us expertly through the tastings and was able to answer any questions we had for him, while showing off his great passion... More

Jess was amazing and knew how to explain the wines to the most amateur wine taster (as well as the most experienced, I'm sure!). This was our favourite winery and would recommend this experience to anyone- young (like us) and old! Extremely knowledgeable and welcoming!

This winery has an extensive range of wine and so it is best to take it slowly and having some food is a must. The outdoor area is nice and relaxing. The dirt road to get there is not good and must be fixed.

Dear Brian, Thank you for your feedback. Indeed it is best to pace yourself through our extensive tastings, so as to get the best experience possible. While the dirt road does offer a rustic “grass roots” charm, it can certainly deter a few of our potential guests. This is a matter we have taken up with our local Council, which... More
