About
Whistler Wines produce fine wine from Marananga in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Our cellar door is set amongst native bush surrounds, and the vines which we source our wine. Take the time to sit in our settings and enjoy the food, wine and relaxed atmosphere, or visit our rescued kangaroos. Time your visit to enjoy one of the many events we hold throughout the year, or let us keep the kids entertained while you enjoy your wine tasting experience.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a lovely cellar door experience at Whistler Wines. We walked in without a booking and we’re able to do a tasting, just avoiding the waitlists.
The team were very informative about their wines and offered for us to try a couple of extra wines.
It was $15 for a tasting of 6 wines but this fee was waved on purchase of take home wine.
The scenery is beautiful and overall a positive experience

I have been here a couple of times over the past five years and it never disappoints. The tasting is a generous five wine tasting for $5 which they take off your Bill if you decide to purchase any wine.
No pressure to buy any wine after the tasting and the service was great and not over the top like some tastings can be.
I would highly recommend this winery for people who are unsure about what they want in wine or for first timers.

Visited last weekend for a tasting and platter- while the staff were rather luke warm we sat inside for the tasting and then ventured outside under the gums in the warm sunshine for a bottle and build your own platter. Nice grounds playground and a kangaroo enclosure to keep the kids entertained.
All In all a nice experience.

Not that great for kids, wanted to do a wine tasting but was asked if the kids could go outside. Bit hard to enjoy yourselves when 1 parent is inside and 1 is outside. Platters are just a selection of pre packaged crackers and cheese from the fridge. If you're after a meal look elsewhere

Fantastic venue for large groups. (Outdoors) The lawns are beautiful. We did the tasting and paired it with the platters and it made for a lovely morning. The kids were able to play cricket and on the small playground. Great value for money. The only food are the remade platter boxes, no hot foods.

Enjoyed a delightful wine tasting here today. Kirsten at the cellar door was lovely and super helpful. Gorgeous location with tables outside to enjoy a platter of cheese/meats and a glass of wine. Highly recommend.

Sampled some whites and roses, very nice little cellar door, came away with some rose, creamy strawberry notes-yum!
The kids will be happy with a little playground and some hand-reared kangaroos they can see fairly close up.

Hi Robina,
Thanks for your enquiry. We do not make any non-alcoholic wines at Whistler.
We do have juice and soft drink available, but none of our own non-alcoholic products.
Cheers, Ellen
