A busy quayside with children crabbing like mad. You can't fail to catch some, as it would appear the entire crab population sits alongside the quay walls.

Parked at steamer point and walked Along beach to Mudeford Quay. Great views of Isle of Wight. Lovely beach huts along the front.

After taking a lovely walk from Hengistbury Head you can get the small ferry (£1.50) across to Mudeford. There are a a few restaurants and cafes here on the quay and also an RNLI station. A lovely place to start a walk along the beach...More

Never a disappointing visit, fantastic area always do a little crab-fishing & visit the restaurant for a bite to eat etc. Today was no exception, caught crabs & small fish with net's/line's & we all thoroughly enjoyed our food/drinks at Haven Cafe

The fish shop arranges trip's. If you want longer ones deep sea etc. or wreck they do them from Lymington daily but you will need to book.
