Much better than the Reichenbach one in Meiringen! Narrow road to access from Brienz but good car park(can be crowded in the Summer) The falls are beautiful and you can enjoy them from paths on 3 levels. We were lucky to go right after snow falls and it was just fairy tail view. The hotel is closed until early April but the view from the open terrace over the Brienzer lake is stunning. There is a funicular train, a 4 min ride from the lake to the hotel. …

The pathway to the waterfall is s bit craggy. The waterfall itself is not awe inspiring but the views are.

Amazing location, on the lake Brienz (I recommend to get there via boat), with a small funicular railway that brings to a hotel. The landscape is beautiful, and there are many hiking trails to do. The waterfall is just amazing and you can watch it from different points of view.

a nice waterfall, but first of all it is a beautiful walk between Giessbach and Iseltwald, all along the shore of the lake, through the forrest and with spectacular panoramic views. gorgeous.

We took a boat from Interlaken Ost (across the road) to reach Giessbach. After getting down you can either hike up or take a Furnicular (CHF 5) one way to the only hotel up there and base of the waterfall. The hike up is easy and can be done in 20 to 30 min comfortable if you walk without taking breaks to click the beautiful picture along. Once on top u can go up to the point where in you are inside a cave and behind the waterfall. It is an absolute amazing feeling to be there and see the view from up. …
