Lovely area of typical Norfolk Broads. We approached from the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre, which has parking and some great walks which include access to several bird hides.

Taken on 2 hour trip around hickling broads by Richard a very friendly and knowledgeable guy who took us into 2 bird hides and pointed out all the different species. It was well worth the money and was one of the highlights of our time...More

Fabulous evening boat trip with very knowledgeable guide. Heavenly. Saw avocet, flying cranes, lapwing, pied and grey wagtails, Egyptian geese, mute swans, crested grebe, heron, great egret, small starling murmurations, moorhen, lots of terns and ducks and birds I don't know. Our daughters paid for us to have an evening trip as a Father's Day gift. It was wonderful, being taken by boat around the broad, up the tree tower for views, visiting hides and seeing so many waders, ducks, geese..... A great white egret flew...More

There is a good 20 minutes walk to the boat and again on the way back. It is a small boat. Also stopping of at the 2 hides involves climbing in and out of the boat. There is a short walk to the tree tower but the climb up... More
