As a customer for 4 years now I thought it time to review. Our grown up kids are now about to venture to Boursot on their own, how exciting! Guy and his colleagues are so knowledgeable on their offer of outstanding wines from small vineyards. We have NEVER been disappointed with any wine or sparkling we've bought from Guy. Both... More

We have been coming twice a year now for a couple of years and I have to say I love this place. The wine selection is excellent and priced to suit every budget. Guy and co go above and beyond to ensure you have a successful trip and this is one of the reasons we keep returning time and again

Having been a regular customer for five years it's time I added to the ecomiums already written. The more so since the future, post-Brexit, is bleak for this business-model. Support Guy and his excellent selection of wines before we return to "four bottles duty-free" régime!

This really is a wonderful place to come to for French wines. You will be given advice, information, probably a few to taste. The wines are well priced & delicious, from everyday drinking to special vineyards & vintages (magnums too) to delight that wine buff you want/need to impress! Get their monthly update & list (website), & plan a trip.... More

Run by Guy Boursot who is extremely knowledgeable about his wines, and coming from a long family line of vintners. Guy trained with Berry Brothers in London and now selects an exciting range of wines from all areas of France, including many from smaller vineyards. Always something new to discover and at very attractive prices. Something for all pockets and... More

Guy Boursot runs this wine retail business in the small town of Ardres 20 minutes from the Channel tunnel terminal. When stocks are low I travel from Wiltshire to Folkestone to Ardres and back in 12 hours including a good lunch, with several cases of Guy's good and fairly-priced wines. He has a good sense, having worked in London for... More

Whenever we go to France we always stop by and fill up the boot, and have been to his new shop also. If the church next door is open do go in its stunning inside. Mr B is English and very helpful.

Recommended by fellow diners last night, a small but comprehensively stocked wine shop, not far from Calais in a very attractive small town. The owner wasn't there, but we were well entertained by his assistant, who spoke excellent English. The wine list is extensive, mostly from small family producers and there are also some spirits and eat de vie for... More

We greatly enjoyed our visit to Guy's wine shop and came away heavily laden. He was very helpful and good at listening to our inexperienced descriptions of what kinds of wine we like. We'll be back in the spring (euro allowing) to get a few sample bottles to enjoy on our trip, before returning to stock up on our way... More

Visited here on a recent press trip and enjoyed a tasting of four excellent wines presented and superbly described by the charismatic Guy Boursot who despite his name is English. He tells a great story of how the mayor and the villagers received an Englishman setting up a wine shop though 10 years later he is still here and they... More
