About
Peninsular paradise or beach with a wow effect That's the one - beautiful beach from the picture however, at the same time, nobody knows where it is. As for you, you never heard anything about Fakistra and that's okay. It's time to discover.

A beautiful beach with crystal clear waters of blue and turquoise. A clean small beach With a small stream flowing beside it. The access to the beach is through a steeply descending path, but it is not difficult to walk. The beach is in a...More

A nice trek down to the beach for those fit enough and the view down promises better than it actually is. A small cove with a giant white rock ruined by graffiti. No refreshments nearby in September but better beaches nearby.

Driving there is a little scary, lots of turns. Then the walk down- you must pack proper sneakers as it is tough. Take food/water/ anything you would need to eat as there is nothing down there but beach. Pack light though- you get tired walking...More

Really beautiful beach, but keep in mind that the walk back to the car is closer to crossfit than walking :) anyways, all worth it

it is a ten minutes walk on a steep path till you reach this great beach so it would be better to wear your sports shoes

We were advised to wear sport shoes... and it was absolutely right !! About 15 min downhill walk to reach the beach and 20 min to walk up. Not sure if I enjoyed the beach so much. when it is windy - avoid it.

very unique beach, peaceful and shady in the afternoon. it is recomended to wear flip flops beacause of the discomfort of walking on stones. the water is quiet and clean. it gets deep quite close to the shore.

A little trouble finding this beach, but wow it was so worth it. A small walk downhill and it becomes paradise. Crystal clear waters and few people. Put this on your list it is a must.

We hiked from Damouchari to Fakistra. It was lovely exploring the countryside and wandering through all the olive groves on the way to the beach. The beach is tucked away between two cliffs with a waterfall running into the sea. Absolutely gorgeous and secluded, it...More
