Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the most amazing nature thrills imaginable. Virtually an uncountable amount ofBald Eagles feeding, preening, socializing and probably making plans that are up to no good :-)

Seriously, this is the largest congregation of Bald Eagles in North America. Go to Squamish from Vancouver (about an hour) and then find Eagle Run - all the locals know where it. And it costs NOTHING, as in zilch, nada, free!!!

Well. It’s a nice walk and cool view of the mountains. Cool water scene and nice fresh air perfect for a walk. Very peaceful. Didn’t see any eagles. Lots of seagulls. Little disappointed

This is a good, wide, gravel trail along the Squamish river, used by walkers, dog-walkers (we noticed a few dogs were not on leash, so keep that in mind if it concerns you), and cyclists alike. There are plenty of benches for stopping to rest and enjoy the scenery, including some very interesting wood benches. There is a fair amount of parking available along the road; we had no issues finding a place. We visited in July, so too early for the eagles, but did spot a seal in the river. I want to come back in the Fall this year, if at all possible. I'll be sure to bring my tripod and large lens.

Eagle Run is a short embankment above a wide expanse of the swiftly flowing river. It has benches made of neat twisted cedars, but the walk is not very extensive-maybe less than a half mile. Kind of neat, but we didn't see any eagles.....there is a small restaurant at one end of the walk, but we didn't stop in.

This is always our favourite to go for a walk, this time no eagles, one or two turkey vultures, but still beautiful.
The River always intrigues me. The little restaurant is a hidden gem with great food and service.

We came in the off season for viewing eagles. Nice walk with good views. Saw seals in the water and deep across the river. Informative signs along the path with good information.

This is an ideal spot to break up your southbound drive to Vancouver or your northbound trip to Whistler and beyond. If you've packed your pooch, then it's even better because it's a perfect spot to walk your four legged friend.

The signage to find it is pretty much nonexistent so use Google to locate the Watershed Grill and park along the road upon arrival.

The signage at Eagle Run hasn't been updated since JFK was in office (or so it seems) but none of that really matters too much because it's the outdoors that brought you here and it's those same outdoor surroundings that will keep you here for that wonderful hit of fresh air you were craving to break up your day.

There's two separate places to get doggie poop bags if needed too so if you left you're at home, it's not an issue.

Went to the Watershed Grill which is on Eagle’a Run. The view of the River and watching the Eagles was a lovely experience.
