Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My 22-year-old daughter found this winery somehow so we visited as a family on our trip to Switzerland to make her happy. 🙂 So glad we did! The owner served us a wonderful soft, creamy cheese with bread and a trio of delicious wines. The view from this place is breathtaking! Sit and enjoy the breeze on a hillside overlooking fields of grapevines, water and mountains. What could be better? We really enjoyed our afternoon here. Well worth the visit.

Great spot to stop and taste wines in one of the oldest wineries in Lavaux. For CHF 15 per person you get to taste many of the winery's offerings with bread, cheese, water and breadsticks. Lovely terrace overlooking the vineyards and Lac Leman and very friendly host. Lovely even on a rainy day!

Located in a estate dating from 1515 we enjoyed the company of great friends and kind hosts. Rose, red, white, and tapas made this day unique and memorable

The food was great, from the butter to the meat to the croissants - everything was very tasty, high quality local products and well prepared. The people are very kind and hospitable. Not to mention the lovely (local) wine.

We were looking for a quiet, out of the way tasting and so happy they were open on a Friday afternoon. The hostess spoke great English and was very accommodating. We were not rushed and were given generous pours of wines she thought we’d enjoy. Bread, cheese and water were excellent extras. Patio was gorgeous and we ended up buying wine we thought was exceptional. Highly recommend!

After a beautiful walk through the vineyards from Lutry to Grandvaux we arrived at “Domaine de la Crausaz”. The first domain that was open and where you could taste without booking in advance. They have a large terrace with stunning views over their vineyards, the lake and the Alps across the street. We took the Tricolore tasting and a large plate of local cheeses and cold cuts, DELICIOUS! With each wine we were told a detailed explanation of origin, composition, with which dishes the wine is suitable to drink, ... The “Planchettes” was very varied (3 types of cheese and 3 types of meat) and good in terms of portion. This also gave you plenty of bread. Moreover, the bread basket and water were refilled for free! We finished with two glasses of white wine and a scoop of artisan vanilla ice cream. The service was also top (very friendly and not intrusive)!
It was a perfect ending to our trip in Lausanne!

I made a reservation by phone in February, 4 months in advance, for a table for 5 people on the terrace.
I remember talking on the phone about your problems with no-shows and how grateful you were to be able to count on people to honor their reservations.
And you confirmed the reservation for me on the terrace.

I supported you during Covid by coming to your restaurant as soon as the restrictions were lifted and organizing my wedding brunch for 65 people 2 years ago.
I have come to your establishment many times in the past.

And despite all this, my in-laws came from England and were looking forward to coming back to your restaurant, and we drove 2 hours from Geneva with all the roads closed between Cully and Vevey, only to be treated like nothing. arriving.

The person who welcomed us spent 10 minutes leading me around telling me that there was a storm forecast so no tables outside (even though there were many tables set and many people already seated, then that you had to book in advance (I had reserved 4 months in advance), then that the terrace was reserved for families with children, then again the story of the storm, then offered to set up a table on the upper terrace (at our risk in the event of a storm) which I accepted, then showed me an indoor table and told me that in fact it was not possible to set up an outdoor table for US... And finally we looked away with a big smile.

Why act like this and waste our time while giving a deplorable image of your establishment?!
Why not contact us to let us know about an indoor table to avoid the inconvenience?
Why the deplorable attitude of the person who welcomed us?! Was it nice for you to treat us like this and lose 350 Fr in the process?!

I will absolutely never return to your establishment, please remove me from your mailing lists, and this email will end up on Trip Advisor (where I am a Gold member with more than 200 reviews) and Google.

Good luck if you manage to survive by treating your customers like this…
