It's a shame because it's super interesting

This is a very interesting house, it's got a sign outside to help explain why and how it was built and I really enjoyed going down to see it and exploring the masses of rooms and... read more

At 50K Rupiah each, this place just is not worth it. As everybody else says, it has such potential as it's a very interesting and unique experience. The price is absolutely ridiculous for a 2 minute walk! The guide is very hard to understand and yes, he's quite abrupt and pushy. He rushes you through and by the time you... More

We visited and left disappointed. The entrance fee is steep at 50,000 per person. We tried to negotiate since we saw earlier prices online for 10,000 per person. No luck, he insisted on the price and finally we paid and crawled into the dark hole in the ground. There was a light every so often but not nearly enough to... More

This is a very interesting house, it's got a sign outside to help explain why and how it was built and I really enjoyed going down to see it and exploring the masses of rooms and holes he has built BUT it's is over priced, he insisted it was 50k each which is to much and from reading these reviews,... I visited the underground house with my gf on the last day of our vacation on Lembongan before our boat came. We had a fantastic time till going here. First off , the guide requested 100k each and when we refused he later said 50k each was fine. We later found out it was much cheaper than that. Scams like... More

I found this so interesting because it was made by one man alone..i have bedn to the chi chi tunnels in vietnam but this was so different. If you are claustrophobic don't go in..i couldnt hang around long just a quick walk through. He started in 1963 continued till 1984 when he died at age 98..good on you👍

This under ground house is amazing and a lot of work has gone into it. It is interesting enough but we couldn't find our way out and it was sort of like a maze. Some girls came into the house and showed us which was to go. The house has lots of ups and downs and isn't great for tall... More

This inspiration to make this Gala-Gala underground house or Wasundari Graha came to a shadow puppet play actor, Made Byasa from Mahabarata Story when the five pandawas and their mother was betrayed by the evil Kurawas and their life was saved by the underground tunnel built secretly. This 500 m2 house was made during 15 years from 1961 to 1976.... More

Looked interesting enough on paper so we made a stop. There is not much of information about entry fee or whether there is any at all, however we were approached by (what felt like) an opportunist local entrepreneur asking for 50k pp. It felt definitely too much, he played a hard bargain. After a bit of haggling we have decided... More

The "guide" wanted 50k from each of us. We felt this was quite expensive so we were about to leave. The guide then asked for 25k pp instead. We got suspicious thinking this place may be for free and the guy just wants to trick us and get the money for himself. By the time we were leaving he lowered... More
