At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.

Signposted all the way up from Nidri town, takes about an hour to get there passing olive groves, lovely houses and old derelict buildings along the way. Once there it is reached by a small incline with some very rocky/slippery paths to walk across ,...More

In October there is hardly any water left, a waterfall like a running tap.... But the location is so beautifum that you should go there!

It was late afternoon, and we walked up the path to get there. You come to a place which feels as if it may be the end, but no, there is more, cross the path of the stream ( no water at the time, but...More

Great landscape to visit. Only 10 minutes driving from Nidri. Sundly during summer period there isn't so much water. Go and have fun.

In October it's not too hot to take the 40 minutes walk up to the waterfalls where you will be rewarded with spectacular views. Take water with you as there is nowhere for refreshments on the way.

A long walk, and unfortunately no water flowing, and only a pool at the top under the waterfall. Interestingly, there was a crab, a frog and some fish in this pool ! I'm sure in the wet season this is much more worthwhile to visit....More

Visited on Sunday 8th Oct 2017. Plenty of rain on the day before, so we thought a leisurely walk from Nidri would be a good idea and there would be a decent 'torrent' of water over the waterfall. Wrong. Complete waste of two hours, nothing...More

A gentle walk from the town centre. Smell the oranges and peace of the countryside. The falls depend on recent weather

I'd suggest you park somewhere in Nydri and go there by foot. You'll have to take a 40 minutes walk, most of the time you will be among olive trees. I personally found the trip very relaxing. Enjoy!
