    Great all rounder
Great little laid back beach. Nice sand not massive space though, Great little snack hut that has cocktails which were refreshing, we had a couple of toastie at 5 euros was cheap. Toilets available. People were plane spotting which was actually fun to watch and doesnt spoil the beach setting. We did a bit of snorkeling which was basic. Great all rounder

Lovely small sandy beach which is clean
Clean small sandy beach which didn't get too busy. Very snack bar on the beach with lifeguard and sun loungers. Toilets and mostly importantly free showers to wash sand off you at the end of your visit. Waves on the beach which is shallow and free from sea urchins!

Clear sea, warm & shallow like the Caribbean.
A beautiful yellow sand beach with clear sea, warm & shallow. It’s used by visitors & local Greek families use it late afternoon in to the evening. The sun beds are two for 12 euros or you can use your towels like the locals do. On the far right is two toilets & a bar & on the start of the sea front is a cafe serving drinks & snacks. The tide is out very early until mid afternoon & it’s also at its calmest & hottest, you can walk out over a 100 metres & the sea is only waist deep. It’s ideal for beginners & children to gain confidence while being safe all the time with a adult. There’s a life guard from early morning until 6 pm & that also gives beginners the confidence to stay in the sea. Just take care when walking down the small steep hill to the beach, lots carried there small children & helped the older family members. If you looking for hours of fun then head to Ames beach & you won’t be disappointed.

Had a much better experience last time I was at this beach and saw turtles hatching. There is now almost no beach that hasn't been covered in sun loungers and umbrellas.
It would seem that making money from tourists is considered more important than protecting a nesting area. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the sunbeds have spread beyond an agreed space, can't believe the local authority gave permission for the entire beach to be covered.

The beach is about 10 mins drive from the airport.
Just follow the road around from the airport exit.
Nice and clean beach (sandy)
Crisp clear water and 2 sun loungers and a table with parasol 10 euros.

This beach is beautiful. The water is clear with the beautiful brown sand. You can us the sun loungers for a small fee and there's also a beach bar with few snack options. This beach is ideal for plane spotting as airplanes fly over the beach during landing. That beach is the like the one on the Caribbean island of St-Martin.

We planned our holiday around the reviews for this beach.
As we have some mobility issues we wanted a flat / gently shelving beach.
We needed to get into and out of the sea with ease.
The beach was absolutely beautiful BUT both ways to get to it were very steep uneven slopes. When we were there we found it almost impossible to get in the sea because there was a high shelf of sand to negotiate before we could get in. Fortunately there were some wonderful friendly people there who helped me in and out. The second week it was easier to get to the water but we had very big waves so it wasn't safe for oldies like us. The lifeguards were kept busy helping people out of the water. It was like something from Baywatch!
For able bodied people this was a perfect beach and I am sure that we were unlucky to be there when nature decided to play tricks.
I would recommend this to anyone without mobility problems.

This was the closest beach to our apartment and is easily accessible. There are sunbeds with umbrellas to hire, a lifeguard, a shower and a bar serving drinks. The beach is sandy and the highlight for us was being able to watch planes arriving on the island, flying directly overhead.
