- Trevor KRedworth, United Kingdom29 contributionsBirthday TreatA great visit to a brilliant distillery hosted by Ian. Friendly informative and just perfect in hosting for his passion the Tullibardine distillery, Ian was a great ad for this tour. Information with humour and engaged us from start to finish. As a birthday trip with my eldest son, ( he was their just to ensure I didn’t buy too much in the shop afterwards ) it was perfect and we enjoyed every minute and the photos we sent home showed it.. Thanks to all of the staff and especially Ian for making it a brilliant day. TrevorVisited January 2023Written 10 January 2023
- Coach8 contributionsSaved the day! Fantastic experienceVisited Tullibardine yesterday and was the 2nd distillery tour of the day (Glenturret 1st). In all honesty we were both looking forward to Glenturret more than Tullibardine..... How wrong we were. With a disappointing visit to Glenturret for a few different reasons we arrived here more in hope of something good to save the day after an 8am start..... Boy did they ever. The guide and tours of both distilleries were both very very good but it's what the distillery offers that made all the difference, Tullibardine gave more choices for visitors and didn't force you into buying selected bottles from there range, also it felt a more relaxed environment too from start to finish especially when tour was finished we stayed a little longer to try more drams from the bar and honestly could have stayed longer. Tullibardine you all made our trip worthwhile and my whisky shelf looks a lot less bare after that visit.Visited March 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 12 March 2023
- Richard E6 contributionsGreat afternoon tripWhilst on a trip to Stirling with work colleagues from the hospitality industry, I was asked to organise a distillery trip for the 9 of us. I’ve specialised in single malt whiskies for about 12 years now, so wanted to visit a distillery that I hadn’t been to before. Although the process of manufacturing whisky is the same regardless of where you go, every distillery has its own quirks and differences. I have to say, the passion and knowledge of our tour guide was without a doubt the best I have experienced in all these years. Gavin’s no nonsense and factual approach to his job made it so easy for those members of the group with less experience of single malts to understand, and we are now selling more premium single malts on the bars as a direct result. Well done Gavin and the team. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon.Visited March 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 19 March 2023
- Adi C1 contributiongood visitGavin and lindsie were great. Kind as hell, cheerful, happy and humoristic. They took a pictures of us, offered tate of whisky, and recommended good places to eat around the area. The day started with a smile :)Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 April 2023

- Sierra D2 contributionsAwesome tour with IanThis tour was awesome! Our tour guide Ian was legit; he had tons of knowledge and made our experience great. We got to see the whole production of the whisky as well as take a sampling. Overall fun for everyone!Visited June 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 5 June 2023
- Andrina R1 contributionGreat tourSamantha was a terrific guide. She told us the history of the distillery, gave us interesting background and a tour of the distillery itself. We then had samples of various whiskys and she explained more about them. A great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the 90 minute visit. Well worth a visitVisited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 June 2023
- KmiithSicily, Italy1 contributionWe recommend!Despite the works in the locals that didn’t allow us to see everything, we have spent a great time visiting the Distillery of Tullibardine. A movie (commented by our guide Vivianne) explains very well the part that you cannot visit and the tasting is made in the middle of the casks. Vivianne has been amazing. She shares with perfection her passion for Whisky. It was a very nice smelly and tasty experience. We recommande !Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 July 2023
- Elizajane1ukDunfermline, United Kingdom15 contributionsFantastic tripJust spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the Tullibardine Distillery. Though due to the distillery being closed for maintenance a tour of the Bonded Warehouse was offered. We watched a video on the distilling process and we were able to ask questions as it played through and stopping and replaying parts was really helpful. This gave Gavin the exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide time to give detailed explanations of the process and the history of how Tulllibardine came to be as it is today and the history of that building which used to be a coop. Which personally I found far more interesting than walking round the distillery as there were less distractions. He then took us into the bonded warehouse where we got to nose some cask. Really an eyeopener to try and distinguish between the different types of casks. The value of the whisky held in this one warehouse is just, well let’s not tell everyone what it would be worth just that it is a lot. A wee taste of a boy racer whisky (a young prentender) then a taste of a a more mature whisky. We then went back out to the reception area and tasted a whisky of our choice. I tried the sherry cask and it warmed the cockles. Gavin many thanks for your time and patience. I’m looking forward to later this evening so that I can open one of the bottles bought today and as you told me relax. EJS Well worth a visit. Oh! and the whisky is really good was well.Visited July 2023Written 14 July 2023
- Paul NLondon, United Kingdom6 contributionsThank you Gavin for a wonderful experienceMy son and I visited Tullibardine distillery and had a wonderful tour and tasting. Our guide Gavin was friendly, helpful and interesting, he made the whole experience a real pleasure. Thank you Gavin! The whisky tasting was in a lovely atmospheric bar area and the whiskies tasted good too! In the shop area we tried a 15 year-old which was my favourite. We would have stayed longer if we hadn't had to rush off to our next distillery!Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 August 2023

Came here to thank Ian for taking the time to give a great tour and found the rest of the comments saying the same thing! Really took the time to explain the story and avoid a lot of the wind and pish that usually comes with a distillery tour. Open, honest, and thoroughly enjoyable hosts.

Ian did a wonderful job on the tour, with a great Scottish sense of humour. His boss David gave us a peek into the storage area where all the casks are stored. A great experience

I’m interested in the disparity between the 45 min and 90 min tours; the former is £9 and the latter £30. Is the difference worth it?
How much is the whisky and chocolate tour please

My sister and 3 others are visiting soon by public transport. They will have light luggage with them. Will it be OK to leave it somewhere safe while they do the tour?

If it is a nice day, she could stay outside with the dog or take a walk into the village. Seems very quiet so safe to walk. Didn't notice seats outside but there may be. Tour takes an hour. There is a waiting area inside but not sure if dogs get in or not but you could ask.
