About
Tullibardine Distillery is located in Blackford, Perthshire - the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. The site dates back to late 1940s as a distillery for producing hand crafted, Highland single malt Scotch whisky. Tullibardine’s expert and experienced guides and distillery staff are able to give visitors a detailed insight into the craftsmanship and detail that goes into making our single malt whisky and the art of distillation.

Thank you Gavin for a wonderful experience
My son and I visited Tullibardine distillery and had a wonderful tour and tasting. Our guide Gavin was friendly, helpful and interesting, he made the whole experience a real pleasure. Thank you Gavin! The whisky tasting was in a lovely atmospheric bar area and the whiskies tasted good too! In the shop area we tried a 15 year-old which was my favourite. We would have stayed longer if we hadn't had to rush off to our next distillery!

    A warm friendly welcome
Visited the distillery in August 23 with my wife and daughter. I didn't have time for a full tour due to travelling for most of day. I've experienced some snobbery with previous distilleries probably because I look young. But, as soon as we walked in Gavin in the shop welcomed us. He gave a brief talk about the distillery (very informative) and took me through the bottling range. A big difference was I was allowed to try before buying. Gavin talked though each and suggested bottling to suit my palette. My wife and daughter were offered a soft drink also. We were comfortable and relaxed and not rushed. I was so impressed afterwards I spent a small fortune. But more then happy with the purchase and look forward to getting home to open them.

You should give this Whisky Tour A Go Go !
A fantastic tour experience led by the lovely Linzi whose friendly, witty banter, experience and knowledge of whisky came through the entire tour. I wasn't sure what to expect and was so surprised by how much I enjoyed our time there. The gorgeous smells are a delight for the olfactory senses. The tasting experience itself is in a very well designed and modern space of the distillery. My favourite parts of the tour was tge history and local folklore of whisky in the area which enhanced the experience provided by Linzi. I am looking forward to sitting around our fire pit sipping our Tullibardine whisky this autumn.

    Great Distillery Tour
I’ve been on at least 5 such visits before this. However, this was the most interesting and informative of them all. Not necessarily because the product is the best. All Scottish Malts are great. However the guide (Gavin) just made it special. Did you know that whisky starts as beer? I didn’t. Did you know that whisky can be finished in burgundy barrels? Me neither. So take the time to visit this superb venue. And great value at £12 per person (2023)

    Gavin - what a guide!!
We came in for a distillery tour and tasting. Gavin was our guide and he completely transformed the experience into something a little bit special. This gent is SO knowledgable, so enthusiastic and so very engaging. No question is any trouble for him, he explains each step with detail, but is also direct and no nonsense. The experience is interactive, with each of the senses involved throughout - however Gavin is what made the experience exactly what you hoped it would be. Light, engaging, informative, at times funny, definitely worth it for whisky lovers and complete novices alike.

    Fantastic Tour
Our trip to Tulibardine was unplanned and totally worth every second. I have always enjoyed the whisky and my first was 1993. The history and events surrounding the distillery were great and we now have a clearer understanding and appreciation of whisky. The tastings were incredible and will definitely be visiting when in the area. Well done team.

    Beautiful Time
Tullibardine Distillery was amazing start to our journey to learn about whiskies. The staff their was very knowledgeable, especially Samantha who guided us throughout the tour and was very kind answering all our questions patiently. The Warehouse of Tullibardine is one thing not to miss out on whenever you visit Edinburgh.

    South African Tullibardine star ⭐️
The Distillery Tour was an excellent experience due to the superb wit, knowledge and passion that tour guide Gavin displayed. He is an absolute gem. South Africa’s loss is Scotland and more importantly Tullibardine’s gain!! Doesn’t waste time telling you about “smelling the morning dew off butterflies” but instead leaves you with the unforgettable line “the best whisky is one shared with friends!”

    Impressive surroundings, employees and whiskey
We did not have a tour scheduled, however, when we stopped in we were greeted as if we were long-awaited travelers. The tasting in the lobby was informative and very good. This was our first exposure to this whiskey, and we will definitely look for it in the States when we return. Well done!

Brilliant tour.
Impressive showroom.
Engaging tour guide (Gavin).
He was obviously extremely knowledgeable but explained in easy to understand terms the whole whisky making process. He would go into as much detail as required on a broad range of questions right from is it acceptable to add water to whisky to what happens to the waste materials.
Highly recommend Tullibardine distillery where you're made to feel welcomed.

I must comment about Gavin and the wonderful tour that we had. I’ve been to 50 plus distilleries over time , and this is one of the friendliest and most informative of all. He shared with me and my son a lot of outside knowledge about Whisky and the market, which fascinated us both.

We had not known much about Tullibardine Distillery before. So we enjoyed an excellent, very interesting tour with Vivianne, a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Everyone at the distillery was really nice.

The guide was extremely friendly and we were able to see an enormous amount. We really got to see each stage of the production process, the anecdotes were fabulous and the tastings gave a real insight into the different types of casks used.

Gavin was gracious and hospitable to our group of whiskey novices. He helped us celebrate the time honored process of making whiskey. We had no idea wood barrels played such a big part! Gavin not only provided history and insight into the process, but he gave us a helpful read / review of the industry as a whole. He coached us in the tasting room, then stayed past closing to aid us in our travel down the road. We will remember his kindness and be grateful for our visit to the UK!
