If you are staying in Guangzhou and looking for a place to relax during the holiday, this might be a place but too local. There is another new resort just across the street called Dusit Devarana which is very new and managed by a Thai company.

The bus goes from Yuexia and drives approximately 90 minutes. It is a comfortable ride mostly on motorways and for roughly 25 kilometres on countryside roads which are safe and spacious so an unwell feeling should not occur. The guarded and fenced entity hosts several complexes of which the hotel with its seperated sporting in- and outdoor facilities (Tennis, Squash, Badminton, Swimmingpool) accomodates overnights guests. It is a 15 meter walk from the hotel to the hot springs complex in which several pools with different health effects invite for relaxation and health improvement. A sauna and a steam bath as well as massage areas are also found and round up the vast variety of heatlh treatments. The friendliness of personal is exceptional in all areas, i. e. hotel, spa, sport and guards of the parking ground as well as for the whole entity which is sourrounded by a fence. A cosy inside relaxation area invites to enjoy some hot or cold drinks, fruits and biscuits. In addtion once can book the VIP area in which huge seats can be transformed into beds. The hotels restaurant has a huge breakfast offer and guests can choose eihter western or east asian breakfast. Lunch and dinner ingredients are locally farmed and prepared in a delicious way. The rooms are very clean, spacious and have a balcony which suits perfectly for drying bathing cloths. An english speaking TV-Chanel is available. On the second floor snooker and billard tables as well as ping pong can be rent and further rooms for card and chess games are on offer. The river in front of the hotel invites to take a boat trip on its smaragd green waters and admire the forrests on the surrounding mountains which consist partially of lychee trees. Beautiful trees grow out there blossoms now which appear in a symphony of colours consisting of white, red and pink. Young children are heartly welcomed at all times in all places and various activities are for their disposal. A very pleasant suprise was that my birthday had been recognized and actions were undertaken that made me feel very valued, which than again confirms the overall attitude of the hotels atmosphere towards their guests.

Excellent service & hot spring resort!

I decided to give it a try after read good review given for this resort and I never regret to come here! The service was excellent! Starting from guard who gave me parking card, the bell boy, the receptionist, even janitors, all greet you with smiles and always take initiative to ask how are you and what you need. The hot spring was superb and perfect! Although Golden Week in China you will expect some unpleasant situation, but they make sure the water and environment clean for you. You will find varieties of food when breakfast, but don't expect the taste is same as Guangzhou. 3 days 2 night in this resort is perfect. There is hit car scam around Conghua tourist place, especially near the Liuxi National Forest Park, try not to drive to village. Don't let it ruin your happy vacation.
