Wudi has been mentioned a number of times in the history of China associated with the Huns in the years around 100 BC. One of his two great generals of the Western Han dynasty, Huo Qubing, was buried here. The place is very peaceful and beautiful, with several small exhibition rooms to learn more about Huo Qubing and his time.... More

A great place to visit, especially if one is interested in Han dynasty history. Huo Qubing's tomb and the Maoling Museum are near the tomb of Han Wu Di nearby, which is also (partially) open to visitors. Maoling Museum has quite a few nice artifacts, such as swords, hill censers, bronze money, etc, and a mannequin scene sequence depicting major... More
