I think its overrated. The gems are not in the James Bond Island itself, but on the other caves near this island. Such as Phang Nga Bay, diamond caves etc.

It's a great place to see but it's like your in the special services with the speed in which you arrive and depart lol that's and the amount of people clambering up and round the steps and rocks to take pics and selfies is mental but another one off the list and once there you can just imagine Roger and... Shuttle bus picked us up at our hotel at 7:30 AM and arrived at pier around 9:30 AM, and we did not leave the pier until 11:00 AM because supposedly one of the shuttles was late....their responsibility....not my problem !!! Very old (big) boat (not speed boat ) and very full of passengers. Over half of the passengers were very... More

We went on the James Bond island tour today. Booked through Destination Services who picked up on time from our hotel. We were taken to Ao Po Pier and were introduced to our guide Tom. The day consisted of a visit to a cave on Ice cream island followed by a canoe ride through Panak island- what a fantastic experience.... More

this is very disappointing as the island is quite small and overcrowded. The boat ride scenery is beautiful but otherwise a waste of a day

Just as it was in the film!! It is situated in amongst 46 islands just off the main shore in the Indian Ocean. Beautiful idyllic setting and I can see why they chose this location for filming. The signature island where the satellite dish comes out the top is unique as it looks like an up-turned pyramid! Well worth a... More

There are so many beautiful places to see and visit and every single tourist seems to end up here....with a selfie stick. Too crowded and nothing really special to see, unless you are a huge James Bond fan. There are people selling items on the Island so its more like a market than a beach, or Island. The area is...
