Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The postcard is heavenly but when you arrive on this island, a vision of horror.
Everything is built.
Boats occupy the beach. The sand is covered with deckchairs with parasols (150 baths per deckchair per hour and per person). No shaded space
Jet ski rental companies by the dozen who constantly get you drunk. 1200 baths for 20 minutes for 1 person and 1500 baths for 2 people
Dirty, under the bars on stilts, you will find all kinds of plastic and other waste
No interest

We chose this excursion because it was possible to spend only half a day there which was more practical for the children and fortunately we chose this option because as soon as we arrived we already wanted to leave. It's horrible. The panorama is pretty from afar but on arrival it's a disaster: it's dirty, it's overcrowded, it's crowded with boats which prevent good relaxation and swimming and above all which disturb the water so it's impossible to correctly see the fish even if I recognize that there were some. But worst of all there were a lot of jellyfish and my children were stung. I pity those who took the day trip. I would add that I came to Thailand 15 years ago. I already found that tourism was killing the beauty of the place but it was still okay, but today it is worse than anything, everything is distorted and dirty. To avoid, save your money for something else.

Completely overcrowded island with a small sandy beach for swimming, the rest is overcrowded with boats. Lots of small shops to shop at, beach chairs for a fee. Complete rip-off in the hustle and bustle of tourists.

An absolute stunning day out visiting the Khai islands. We can not wait to go back again. The views were mesmerizing. The water was calm, clear and warm. I would absolutely recommend the Khai islands to anyone visiting Phuket.

Don’t go to with tour Phuket tropical touch. They don’t respect peoples opinion ,they take to much people to boats and don’t care about their safety and also they don’t do anything for tourists just they are making trips with boats which is making people only tried . In other tours in Phi Phi island you can see a lot and enjoy snorkeling. I don’t recommend to people to go to with Phuket tropical touch travel agency and also i think to go to Khai nok island it is just spend of money for nothing. You can visit bamboo island. This island is really nice.

Khai Nok is billed as a snorkeling area on the way to Phi Phi Island from Phuket Pier. In essence, it is a picturesque tourist trap with tons of people and almost zero snorkeling. We went on Monday, Dec 29, as part of a day trip tour to Phi Phi (our first mistake) and this was the first stop. Unfortunately, it was the first stop for 2 dozen other speedboats. The stop consisted of lots of Chinese tourists throwing loaves of bread into the water to attract some small striped fish so as to take selfies of them 'snorkeling." Those of us who tried to actually snorkel were disappointed with the crowds, the lack of live coral and marine life, and the garbage. Did I mention how crowded it was?

There are two areas on this island - one is a small beach, near the drinks stall and beach chairs, which is lovely IF it was 20 years ago. The corals now here are not in a good state at all, presumably from mass tourism it receives.

BUT, on the other side of the island, is white stretch of powdery sand that promises crystal clear waters and fishes to look at. Good for a swim too! And undoubtedly, the view is amazing to look at.

If you're looking to snorkel here, I believe there are much prettier islands or beaches in Phuket to do so.

Who would’ve thought that travelling alone would be this fun? Went here as the finale of my Phi Phi Island tour, and not even a single second was wasted here. The Island is very touristy for its size (as always) but overall, it’s oddly satisfying, neat enough... except for the washroom. They sell cheap foods and drinks there. But the main attraction here would have to be the natural rock formation. Just take extra care, for there are few idk insects(?) out there.

Im sure this little island was great 40 years ago.
Today is full of trash -so much dirt you can barely walk on the sand ( pieces of corn, plastic, napkins, bottles) even on the sea there is plastic.
Food vendors all around- so many boats and gasoline smell was unbearable.

There are overprices dirty shacks- a couple of dead cats and a million pieces of trash..

Nothing but a tourist trap to force you to buy something-

Bathrooms were for pay and I am
sure not even Satan would go in them...
This little once gem is possibly the saddest place I have ever seen in my life!

At the end of the day trip to Phi Phi Island, our speedboat stopped at this island for relaxing and swimming purpose. The place was full of Beer vendors with Lunch. The Beach chairs are available for 100 B per hour. The place has two ends with beautiful blue water. Good for enjoying yourself.
