The skyrail journey from Kuranda back to Smithfield was an excellent experience. Two stop-overs on the journey provided opportunities to walk through the heritage national park. A ranger-guided tour meant maximum value was obtained.

The sky rail was an excellent way to see the rainforest. Made even better by having two stops on the way to view Barron falls and another area of the rainforest. A must if you're in the area

I visited the Kuranda Park twice during my visit to Cairns. The Skyrail Diamond experience was worth the bit extra as you have quicker access to the sky cars and the drinks and snacks on the train back was a real treat. On my second visit I added the Canopy Glider to enhance the experience in an open car on... More

Am amazing experience of travelling over the rainforest canopy. Its a long cable car ride, right over the tree tops. You can stop of at a few places and walk around. But the view from above is far better than what you get on the ground. You are just above the trees at most points, and to see the birds... More

The cable car ride is beautiful & the views are amazing, but what really impressed me was the guided ranger boardwalk talk/tour of the rainforest. Cameron is so passionate, and has such a gift for explaining how things work in the rainforest. Don't rush to get to Kuranda. Get off at both stops and take time to learn and enjoy... More

I keep telling people about this experience and it one of the highlights of our trip. And this is a must do if ever they intend to travel to the far north Queensland to Carin's and Port Douglas. We will be doing this again, so much we didn't get to see but really glad we did the skyrail.

Riding the Skyrail provides some remarkable and fantastic views of the area. The skyrail takes you far above the forest. We have been on something like this before but nothing as long, high , or spectacular as this was. We highly recommend it. If you are not afraid of heights, book the glass bottom gondola.

Excellent way to see the forest from above and up close. We headed for Kuranda village, the Skyrail stops 3 times and you can get of and on take time to walk in the rainforest, see birds, butterflies and smell the fresh clean air. Beautiful in so many ways, with lots of places to take pictures and go for nature... More
