Few people would travel here to these locations but its dipped in history and culture. You must visit and explore these sites if you are in Shimoga. The views of the fort are nice and you can click great pictures.

This fort is right on the highway connecting Hosanagara and Kollur. It was built by the erstwhile ruler Shivappa Naik. Most of the fort is in tact and one can appreciate the tactful design of the fort. There is no fee to enter the place.
