Gajanur dam is nearby shimoga There's nothing much to do here, except for getting a good view of the backwater. Visit during rainy season for a better experience

You will feel disappointed, there is nothing to offer in this place, Things could have been made better to attract tourists.

It's located very near shivamogga city on the way to theerthahalli. One Has to buy parking ticket and then to enter its just beautiful to capture some landscape water and forest birds. Ideal time one would spend is like 30 odd minutes..

We entered this area through the official gate and after reaching the gates realised that one can not walk on the dam road and gates were not open too. No point in visiting unless you know gates are open. There was no parking ticket given...More
