Nedumkayam near Nilambur is not just a river; it comprises the thick rain forest with it's rich flora and fauna, the Chaliar river flowing through the forest and the vast teakwood plantations. "Enjoy some fresh air.. walk and swim through some cool water.." one of the best natural spot with good ambiance in malappuram district. Morning or evening will be the best time.

Just a river inside the thich teak forest.. have to get permission from forest guard for entry which can be done from there itself. Nothing much rather enjoying river...

It is a beautiful location. The place is very calm and serene. This is a nice place for an outing and offers a good experience.

Its Just a river inside the forest. Nothing special than quite beautiful view of Forest & Nature. Have a bath in River. Take some snaps that all. Not highly recommended, a good for an half Day hangout.

Nedumkayam isn't much popular among tourists,may be because of not anything to watch or entertain here!but i should say , this is one of my favourite tourist spot in Malappuram. As i said,there is nothing special out here,other than a bridge(built on 17th century),river and forest! But for me, this would make more fascinated. I will give you few tips... More
