Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice monument to one of Bulgaria's national heroes of their struggles for freedom. He was born here and his house is now a museum that can also be visited in this town. Situated in a park at the end of a shopping street there are several monuments and it makes a nice area to walk around.

I just saw it and like many European city monuments this too stands out - especially because of the tall hill with a huge cross at the background. If you are near the St. Demetrius Church, it is just a hop across.

As Sliven is known as "The Town of the 100 Voivodes", this monument was built to be a memorial to all the revolutionaries who fought for Bulgaria's freedom. This particular monument is dedicated to Hadzhi Dimitar and other notable persons from the Bulgarian National Revival who were born in Sliven. Beautiful place important for every bulgarian.

We stopped here for about an hour as part of a tour to visit the city centre and do a little shopping or relaxing time. It's a nice little centre. Quite a few shops and it weren't to busy the area was to be honest.

Beautiful monument in Sliven's downtown area, dedicated to one of the Bulgaria's greatest fighters for freedom who was born in the town. On the four sides of the wall surrounding the main monument are bassreliefs of other prominent persons of the Bulgarian National Revival who were born in Sliven too. It's worth a visit and a flower!
