If you are seeking an interesting, fun-filled and enjoyable day out while in beautiful Istria, look no further than this adventure for the whole family. At Glavani Park near Barban in Istria, you will find the largest high-ropes climbing course in Croatia. We also have an amazing 12 1/2 metre high swing, 12 metre high professional climbing wall, 20 metre high quickjump and the absolute best...the human slingshot, 0 - 100km per hour in one second horizontal catapult. It is utterly awesome and, surprisingly, not at all scary! Also we have free wooden walkways for the small children, a mini excavator to play on and an animal park for everyone to see our goats and chickens, dogs and cats.

Great place. Everyone is super nice. Nigel is a great host! The ropes are challenging (I believe!). Most importantly, it is very professional-definitely recommend! Oh, and then there’s the “Catapult”......

Of course, once you experience the catapult you will be wanting to write a new 10 star review, it is the best and least scary "awesome" game in Europe. we look forward to seeing you all here again and to watching you fly :-)

Arrived just before 10am, left just after 5.30pm: 13 and 8 year old daughters and knackered out old dad (trying to keep up and look brave) had a whale of a time zip-lining, clambering, plummeting and clinging on for dear life - totally exhilarating and totally safe (but without the dreariness of ever-present Health & Safety tedium). This is what a family day looks like - terrific friendly staff from the moment we arrived, who trained us up and set us free: climb, swing, zoom, buy the T-shirt, eat the pancakes, have the satisfyingly aching muscles, drink the beer. We did (well, maybe just me for the last couple). Best day of the holiday - thanks all at Glavani Park.

Wow, this is everything the Glavani Park team have strived for from day one, Thank you. Very pleasing to see that our welcome on arrival, our friendly and helpful advice and help, our safe and "awesome" big park with lots of activities, our restaurant and bar have all been appreciated to the full. We look forward to your return to Istria next year...then you'll also be able to enjoy our rock concert :-) Again, biggest thanks for your first review!

We had a great day out at Glavani Park with runs ranging from a 2m high training/kids run to a 10m high black run there is a great range of activities for everyone to enjoy ... whether they want to attempt the highest runs or not.
There is a great atmosphere with Nigel and the team creating a fun and reassuring environment which encourages you to push yourself a little bit further every time. Nigel even got my 12 year old brother on the horrendous looking 3G swing which turned out to be the highlight of his trip!
We didn't attempt the Devil's Causeway bridge but you have to leave something for next time ...
The team are great and will order pizza for you when your hungry, and with an honesty fridge full of water and beer there is certainly enough to keep you occupied for a whole day.
While my dad stayed at home due to his fear of heights in retrospect he could easily have enjoyed the sun in the outside bar, along with the friendly animals while we scaled the runs.
While the online prices give a good indiction of the price ... with 3 runs priced at 120kn etc in reality the guys just keep a note of what you do and then charge you accordingly, my mum only did two runs and so was only charged for what she actually completed - a nice change from the Go Ape model.
We will definitely be going back next year!!

This was a bit out of the way for us to get to coming from Rovinj and heading to Plitvice. But it was worth it! My kids (ages 4, 7, and 10) loved it. We all did the first course - including the 4 year old, then I stayed back with her, while my sons and husband did the second course (no one braved the third course - it is all more challenging than you think!). There is plenty for all ages here - which is so nice, since many times these places are only good for older kids. Teens will likely be challenged by the top course, but there were treehouses and playground equipment and plenty to keep my 4 year old occupied while her brothers climbed higher... it was so nice to be at a place geared to kids and to all ages of children (adults too!). The puppies didn't hurt either! The prices were pretty reasonable.

Thank you to this lovely family who came to us in a bit of a rush as Plitvice lakes are a good four hours drive away and then stayed nearly as long with us relaxing and enjoying all the offers which we have. Glavani Park is extremely proud that its ambitions to be a very family orientated park with lots to do for all agegroups are being reached and we are expanding with new ideas and new plans all the time and as fast as we can. Having just had our first anniversary it is wonderful that we are now seeing holiday makers who visited last year and we certainly look forward to re-meeting the kids from Arizona next year!

Our daughter was turning 6 while we were staying in Rovinj and we were looking for something special to do on here birthday. Our landlord suggested Glavani Park so we gave it a try. I was a bit worried since our daughter was only turning 6 and this was an adventure park with high climbing.
We met the owner, his daughter and another assistant who walked us through the course. After the kids had some practice on the low ropes, they went straight to the high course. My wife and I were shocked, but the staff was very professional and walked them through the whole thing. The kids had and amazing time. The loved the entire experience.
After the climbing, we used their picnic tables to have lunch and to our surprise the owner brought out four newborn puppys they just had. This just about made my daughters day perfect. She sat on the floor and played with tiny puppies for an hour.
This place is great for kids and adults all ages. The owners are awesome and I would definitely recommend taking some time to visit while in Croatia.

We are so pleased that, again, another family has come with some trepidation to our park and left thoroughly satisfied. We are also really pleased that we decided to remain open throughout the winter too. We have had guests visiting every weekend up to December and even some brave people trying the black route in the sun but cold days leading up to the 31st December!!! We always have goats and sheep, pigs and cows, dogs and cats so there tend to be babies somewhere around throughout the year, great for the younger members of the family. With so much land which we own still being cleared around the park there is an ever growing list of future attractions which we will be adding for the entertainment of all our guests, local and tourists...we hope to complete a bungee strap launching game, a high swing, (possibly 10 metres!) and three 400 metre zip lines before the main season 2012 and also to complete a 2km circular walk through the woods to another village and back just to add to the fun things to do on your holidays here. We hope to see you here again on your holidays to Croatia.

We had a fantastic day at Glavani park . We arrived there around 10 am hoping to beat the crowds as it was the weekend. We needn't have worried for we were the only ones there in the morning. We were well taken care of and our children, 7 and 9 years old, got personalized care from the minute we stepped out of the car. They did the safety course as well as the yellow, blue, and black routes. They were allowed to do the same routes over again without an added fee which was very generous.
One can choose however many routes or games/rides one wants to do and pay a very reasonable price for each.
The entire experience was well worth it and we were thrilled that our children wanted to keep going on and on. The staff was brilliant and walked them through most of the rides, leaving them for short spurts only.
We also had a chance to eat an impromptu meal at the park as they had a group visiting and had enough food. It was really good. Cold drinks, coffee and ice cream, and a shady spot for parents to sit in was ideal, as well.
Thank you, Nigel, for making this a memorable occasion for us. And thank you Carli, for all your care and attention to the needs of our kids. We hope to return in the near future. We also highly recommend this experience for the entire family.

The staff is not pushy, so our children could first look around to see which activities suited them. There were enough challenging tracks for our 13 year old daughter. Unfortunately our boys (15 and 17) were not convinced.

Hi, thank you very much for your review and we're glad that your daughter tried the yellow and blue levels. We are aware that from the ground our park can look unchallenging because it is in such a big area, however we know that if they had completed the black route, the bridge and the climbing wall they would have been suitably challenged and shattered. We are pleased, of course, that one, if we have the family correct :-) did the slingshot and loved that! :-) .

It was fantastic! A place where everybody can enjoy - kids and adults - there is so many adrenaline to share with everybody. Hi, thank you for asking, for the general climbing park 120 kg is the recognised weight limit for the harnesses, there is no minimum weight or height, we help you to overcome difficulties with help and advice. The catapult has a maximum weight depending on age of the bungees. Generally 95kg is the max and even less as they get older. Just come and enjoy though, everybody from 0 - 100 years loves Glavani Park :-)

Sorry that, somehow, we missed this question, the answer is simple, yes there is plenty in the park that will keep your 3 year old entertained. As 4martinus replied, if you are a family of adventurers then the 3 year old will even be able to climb some of the routes and enjoy many of the ziplines while being assisted by yourselves. We will also help as much as is required, we're very friendly:-). We have many "kindergarten" from all around Croatia coming to enjoy themselves here. There are lots of animals for petting, there are great wooden trackways for climbing into treehouse or net, there's a mini excavator, we don't get complaints from parents for bored children!

Hello Anna. Glavani Park is located in Istria, Croatia. Around 7 h driving from Brac. If you are coming to Istria to see the Roman amphitheatre in Pula, or some other Roman buildings and you wish to stay here for couple of days, you are welcome to visit us.

Hi Deborah, Marko P is right, Dubrovnik / Cavtat is nearly 10 hours drive down the Dalmation coastline. The closest adventure park to Cavtat is Cadmos Village which we can recommend visiting. Also, in Montenegro, there is a very large adventure climbing park very close to Cetinje called adventure park Lovcen. This is also highly recommended. However, for us, the most highly recommended is to come to Istria where you will find Rovinj, Pula, Rabac and so many other adventures - including us :-)
