Great for first time skiing with the kids

I had a great experience. The learn to ski and the ski and play worked great for me and my 5 and 7 year old. I thought it would be very difficult to manage two little ones. But I... read more

This place is a great place for young children and new skiers to learn. The hill is small but still challenging for the new skier. Helps to build the confidence needed to become a good skier. The staff in the chalet are friendly and so helpful. The not only appreciate your business, but ensure that your experience there was great.

First of all, let's admit it: if you are looking for skiing challenges, this is not the place. But it does have one tremendous advantage, its nearby, can accommodate beginners and those without any skill can enjoy tubing.

I had a great experience. The learn to ski and the ski and play worked great for me and my 5 and 7 year old. I thought it would be very difficult to manage two little ones. But I was able to ski on my own and go back and forth to take pictures of their first ski experience. The... More

Took our two children there on the holiday for snow activities. On the snowshoeing trail as we got to the peak - which is way too close to the backyards of the large homes there was a very very large dog without a leash. The dog kept on with a loud menacing bark and prancing around. We had to try... More

My family and I usually go to Lake Tahoe or Colorado each year so the kids can see snow. We live in San Diego which can really spoil the kids with the great weather so we always want them to see snow each year and go tubing. This year I had to come up to work in my office in... More

my family and i have been going to Snow Valley for over 20 years. We all learnt how to ski there (they have the biggest and the best ski school in ontario), and now we are teaching my neice and nephew to ski there too. Can't recommend it more!

Great tubing facilities. Was a little disappointed there was no wiggle room in the 42" minimum height restriction as my daughter was boarder line. Kids area actually worked out in her favor as the regular lift lines were super long due to Family Day crowds. She got maximum usage from the smaller kids area. My son braved the long lines... More

Two and half hours could not secure a chair to have a drink or eat something. Can't order food as there is no where to eat it. It is frustrating and nothing is organized here.

Lots of fun had at this local hill by first-winter-in-Canada residents. Easy 1 hour drive from home meant that we could fit in a 4 hour session on the slopes, and still eat two meals at home at our regular meal times! Loved the fact that we could pack a healthy lunch and eat it in the chalet next to... More

A great day of skiing. Well kept runs and chalet added to the enjoyment. Courteous staff willing to assist and answer any questions. Not a huge place but enough variety of runs to entertain most Ontario skiers. Take advantage of bookingbin advance online and save!!! I saved over 40% on a six hour pass. Although there were school groups, they... More
