Lovely views and a pleasant (if a little dicey) drive with plenty of sharp bends on the descent. There is a viewing area where you can park and relax and take in the beautiful scenery.

Fabulous twisting road with some scary drops. There are a couple of car parks and an ancient shrine to stop at. I'm glad we didn't meet any other traffic, could be tricky when busy.

Provides for a wonderful drive and offers panoramic scenic views. If heading up the peninsula to Malin Head, I would highly recommend taking this route from Fort Dunree. Well worthwhile fort be scenery provided.

We lucked out with a glorious sunny day and the landscape was stunning. Also lots of sheep and adorable lambs ambling along!

One of the things I love most about Ireland is the scenic drives which take you way up over magnificent 'Gaps' and this is a good one. Keep an eye out for the Pilgrim point.

Weekend in Donegal and took a drive to here. Great steep road up. Quite as hell bar the wind. Felt like being miles from anywhere. Well worth the trip but remember to bring something to leave in memory of a list loved one

This little bit of road is great, it has an amazing view of the Atlantic, hairpin bends and an odd shrine in the middle. I wouldn't fancy driving it in the snow or ice but when the weathers good (for Donegal) it's great. it also...More

Yes. It may be a little tight in places, but you should have no problems.

Should be fine, a coffee truck sits in the car park halfway down now so if they can tow that you’ll be fine. I’ve also seen camper vans pootiling up
