Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited this theatre while attending the Derek Ryan show. The theatre is very modern, well decorated and very clean. However the seats are not very comfortable, the drinks are overpriced and the staff are not very friendly or helpful. We booked for the evening meal when we booked tickets to be turned away on the day as they had lost the booking.

Nice airy cafe, with freshly cooked food and drinks.
Stopped here for snack on bike ride and was welcomed with a smile by friendly staff and had a toastie, cake and coffee which were all lovely and well priced.
We were even offered cycle licks for our bikes.

Open at last following COVID closure, for lunches and snacks on a Friday. All safety is in order and plenty of space, the auditorium is being used. Food was really nice and great value. Service was a little slow but this was their first day reopened.

Lovely setting for families of anyone not wishing to eat in a pub.

When you consider it is staffed by volunteers and is self financing this place is a gem. It manages to attract top class acts and shows as well as promoting local talent. The seating is arranged so that everyone gets a good view. The bar is well stocked for interval drinks as well as a pre performance meal well done all of you

Went to watch Paddington Bear 2.. you had to have lunch before you saw the film, which I thought was a very good idea to get parents and children through the door.. They had an afternoon specials on hot dog and chips. Soup of the day which was with mushroom or lentil.. and macaroni cheese... my Friend had the lentil soup with a ham sandwich and I had the macaroni Cheese. Which was really very nice I really enjoyed it.. I enjoyed the film. A good day had by the two of us.. we will be back again ..

Excellent venue with pleasant helpful staff. We travelled over 1 and a half hours to get there and have no issues. Hall spacious and pleasantly heated. Would like if perhaps visitors here for concerts were offered discounts at hotels for food and or accommodation. Lots of great shows advertised for coming months

I went here recently to attend a concert and found it to be a fantastic venue. We arrived early to have a meal prior to the concert and the food was excellent. The staff in both the restaraunt and at the venue are so helpful and friendly and the Buccleuch gets full marks. Good food, good bar, friendly and courteous staff. Well done and i'm checking out their programme as I can't wait to return.
