Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Night out to see the 'The Magic Drifters'. Before the show started we were entertained by a singer/comedian and he kept apologising for the cough that he had which affected his singing, but he was still great and managed to get through an hour on stage, he had the audience in the palm of his hand.
When it was time for 'The Magic Drifters' I thought my eyes were deceiving me as they didn't look anything like the advert that was shown on the 'Buccleuch' web page, there was three different age groups on stage but they sounded fantastic and sang for well over an hour. Well done to all concerned at the Buccleuch Centre for putting on this show.

Nice airy cafe, with freshly cooked food and drinks.
Stopped here for snack on bike ride and was welcomed with a smile by friendly staff and had a toastie, cake and coffee which were all lovely and well priced.
We were even offered cycle licks for our bikes.

Visited this theatre while attending the Derek Ryan show. The theatre is very modern, well decorated and very clean. However the seats are not very comfortable, the drinks are overpriced and the staff are not very friendly or helpful. We booked for the evening meal when we booked tickets to be turned away on the day as they had lost the booking.

An excellent lunch among old friends to celebrate David’s 80th Birthday. We were well looked after from Morning Coffee after which we had a 4 mile walk and then lunch followed by Champagne and Birthday Cake. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome and it made an excellent occasion very special. Nothing was too much trouble and in a very busy day served with a smile and good humour.

Usual fantastic friendly service, usually lovely food however on this occasion the battered fish and chips was from a frozen packet so disappointing! Will not Vent to me from returning as usually great food as well as the service!

Open at last following COVID closure, for lunches and snacks on a Friday. All safety is in order and plenty of space, the auditorium is being used. Food was really nice and great value. Service was a little slow but this was their first day reopened.
Lovely setting for families of anyone not wishing to eat in a pub.
