Haghartsin Monastery not far from the forest town of Dilijan.Road heading to monastery is so cute.You go through the Dilijan National Park.Stop in the middle of the road to take an amazing photos.Monastery has the Best view in May and in snowy winter .

This was quite a pretty Monastery, however it is a bit of a drive to get to. In summer there are places you could picnic on your way up or down to the Monastery, in winter it’s a bit chilly. I liked this stop though...More

We were told the name Haghardsin litterally meant dance of the eagles (khagh Artsvin).Beautiful church and nicely renovated (thanks to the donations of an good hearted arab, ruler of Sharjah). Beautiful architecture! V.E

The old monastery complex is built within the forest, so beautiful and exciting, nice views - make sure to have camera with you as you can do really nice shots.

Best to have a vehicle isn't easy to get there without a car. Haghartsin monastery is situated breathtakingly beautiful in the woods. Is by far the most beautiful monastery we've seen in Armenia, but also the most visited. So expected the crowds.

Nice chruch and go for a walk to the lake through the mountain and forest but get a guide so you don't get lost.
