What a pointless day out. Came here as an addition after the railway and the park had signs saying no dogs allowed, anywhere. What a waste of time. Get up to the 21st century. Not all dog owners are irresponsible.
Always used to go down here with my granddad when he got ill...he could never walk far and used to take him in the wheelchair which is good because there is paths all around the park and there is a pond with a seating area...More
Just a really lovely open space, with plenty of playground interests and an assault course for the kids.
Really well kept, a credit to those who care for this place.

Visited the park as very warm morning. Beautifully maintained and large green area. One side digs allowed and the other side of the park not. Very nice cafe with good selection of snacks. We had breakfast which we couldn’t fault. Large fish pond at one...More
Only one mention that I could see of the bowling green at bathurst park in recent reviews, my wife and I had a great welcome by the members and have since become members ourselves, check it out
