We spend one full day on the mountain, from first bus at 8am to 4pm last bus down. Go early to avoid the crowds, walked to the glacier first then did the cable car. Ignore any local guides telling you not to take the cable car because it's misty, they're the sedan chair carrier looking to sell you a ride.... More

we see nothing when we took the cable car to the top. it has many mist. so sad. hardly to see Minya Konka. poor.

Went there during winter time, the ride on the bus up the mountain is long and bumpy. There are a few stops along the way, first stop lets you hike up the mountain to the cable car point, the other is hot spring, and then last is to the base of the cable car point. We went straight to the... More

The road trip began at 9am and headed off to Ya An (雅安). The biggest panda breeding facility is located in Bifengxia (碧峰峽) in Ya An. We were on an old shuttle bus in Hailuogau with a horrible driver, one hand is holding a mobile phone, the roads are winding and it’s a deep cliff below, no barrier on the edge of the road.
