Ranakpur Temples is one of the most beautiful temples in India. The Surya Naryan Temple is adjacent to this temple and one of its kind. A very calming and quiet place of worship.

Visited this temple at Ranakpur but was aghast to find a notice board, which prohibits entry of menstruating women, which is absolutely absurd.

On the way to Ranakpur Temple, we first came across this, as I call it Sun Temple. Beautiful, though with a lot of steps to reach the temple. Was delighted to see such a huge open-air Ampitheatre in front of it.
