John Sullivan Memorial shows the life of John Sullivan, and the timeline of development of Ooty and its surrounding areas. It is a very small monument, but has rich information about the history of Nilgiris

The memorial is set up in memory of Mr. John Sullivan who made the initiative develop Nilgiris. The caretaker Ms. Gayathri, is always ready to provide us detailed information about lifestyles of the tribal communities, and history of Nilgiris.

This place is not worth the trouble visiting. It is just a newly constructed memorial,.very small just a bunch of pictures to look at. Not antique or curious to look at. You will be disappointed after locating it with much trouble.
