It's very near to panjim about 15kms, vehicle goes up to the point. Fort is clean, maintained, only sea facing view is nice. rest is nothing to say. OK.

We went there almost at 12pm, so it was really hot and it needs walking under the sunlight :D I liked it a lot, specially when I was imagining how the history was and how they have built it. It was amazing and had a great view.

Visited this fort with family on recent vacation to Gao, this fort is located right next to the Vivanta by Taj hotel (also known as Fort Aguada hotel) on Sinquerim beach. Whilst stopping in Candolim i took a tuk tuk ride up to the fort!! It has some great history and this is shown within the building!! What makes the trip is the views out to sea and the surrounding area. Its free to go so deffinatly worth it for some lovely photo oppurtunities!

This is one of the places in Goa chich looks beautiful no matter what time of the month you visit. Summer Winter Monsoon the fort offers a beautiful birds eye view of the adjoining areas and the fort itself.
