Wingham Wildlife Park is set within 26 acres in which we display over 200 different species... That is more than any other zoo in Kent! Including some species not seen anywhere else in zoos in the UK, Europe and even the world!

As well as the all important animal collection we have 2 large play areas (both indoors and outdoors, making them fun all year), 2 restaurants (although one may be shut in the winter season) and a wide variety of animal talks, encounters and experiences!

I've been visiting wingham for quite a few years and we love it. Its great for small children as it isnt too big but has lots to see and do. The membership is greta value and means we can pop in for an hour after school as well as longer visits at the weekend. The soft play can get rather... More

the staff here are so welcoming and very nice, polite and informative! The animals are great and they seem as if they are well cared for here. The flamingo walk is awesome as well as the Lemur walk where they can jump on you - they love shoes and sunglasses! Plenty of places to sit for lunch and a cafe... More

Me and a friend visited Wingham Wildlife Park for the first time last weekend. I can't speak for her but it will definitely be the last time I visit. I'll admit it... I'm sensitive! I felt that some of the animals had limited space - Bigger animals had less space than birds?! Some of the animals looked sad. There should... More

This is a nice little animal park. I appreciate that the lions, tigers and chimpanzees have all been rescued or adopted from bad situations and are now in a much better environment.

We last went here a couple of years ago. In the past we had season tickets and thought it was worth the drive over from Ashford. Was considering it this time but as the cost had significantly increased decided to spend the day first and think about it but then there wasn't the option at the end of the day... More

Dear Sarah1305, Thank you for coming to the park and taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear that even though we have and continue to make improvements on a constant basis (you stated yourself that a lot has been done and we still have work on-going), you were not as happy as you have been... My husand and I visited a few days ago. We enjoyed looking at the animals although i was disappointed not to see the chimpanzees outside. The tigers were pacing up and down in the their enclosure, which made me feel it may be a bit too small for them, similar situation with the lions, but they looked in excellent condition.... More

We have an annual pass to Wingham as it is only 6 miles away. The kids absolutely love going to see the animals and the enclosures are regularly maintained and upgraded. Food and drink is available onsite and is reasonably priced. We will be getting another annual pass as we always enjoy going. x

Quite simply, if you love animals I would stay clear. Animal enclosures are far too small for the bigger animals, it's quite sad, Some staff are quite rude and it's very expensive. The soft play area seems to be its biggest attraction, The attitude seems to be.. get as many people in as possible and get their money.

Dear Rob J, Thank you for coming to the park and submitting a review, I am sorry to hear however that you did not enjoy your visit. I think that it is a little unfair to say that we want to just get people in, taking their money and then leaving it at that. In the past few years we... More

I visited here with my two daughters and wife for valentines day. I had previously visited the other wildlife parks in the Kent region and have been somewhat disappointed with the animals whom seem to act very lifeless and nothing like the animal itself. I know in some enclosures we questioned weather the animal was even real LOL. Besides this... More
