Wingham Wildlife Park is set within 26 acres in which we display over 200 different species... That is more than any other zoo in Kent! Including some species not seen anywhere else in zoos in the UK, Europe and even the world!

As well as the all important animal collection we have 2 large play areas (both indoors and outdoors, making them fun all year), 2 restaurants (although one may be shut in the winter season) and a wide variety of animal talks, encounters and experiences!

My husband booked me a surprise Tiger Experience for me at the wildlife park for our one year wedding anniversary. The experience is one I will never forget. Holly, the Tiger's zoo keeper was brilliant. She was very friendly and made me feel at ease. She was very informative and had an excellent relationship with her Tigers. To be able... More

Well, I guess it's really a zoo and I'll say my bit about that later. The strength here is that it's a fabulous place to take kids, they get a good look at the animals, there's not too much walking and there are fabulous indoor and outdoor play areas. The staff are great and interact well. The chimpanzees are something... More

A much smaller zoo than what we have previously visited but there is still a large variety of animals to see. The enclosures are very much together and it's really easy to walk around. The animals are never far away in the enclosures so you can easily see them. Last year the zoo opened a new chimp enclosure which is... More

This is a lovely place to go for a day out with the grandchildren in my case!! Plenty to see & do, even in unpleasant weather, there's an indoor play area where you can watch them running around whilst having a cuppa! They are always improving the animal habitats & rescue chimpanzees are arriving soon, another great reason to visit!

We have a years pass for Wingham and it is so worth the money. The recent arrival of the chimps has been eagerly awaited and they are lovely. Even in the winter this attraction is the best. You can see all of the animals and it is great as the Red Pandas can't hide in the tree as there are... More

Dumbfounded that there were no maps or even signposts. Other than that it was very good. I had to feel sorry for many of the animals outside in 4degrees C. The poor miserable lions rescued from a French circus also plucked at my heartstrings.

Free parking and easy access to all public areas. Well maintained and appropriate enclosures for all inmates. The new area for rescued chimps looked particularly well thought out. Peacocks were roaming freely - a bit bedraggled because of the time of year - whereas all other birds were off-limits because of the current rules re Avian flu. Plenty of photo... More
