Well organised, got picked up from resort (apparently meant to wait on road for them), amusing staff and a beautiful location to snorkel. Lunch provided was delicious and ample. Couple of light entertainment shows to fill in time and then back to the mainland. Had to wait 30 minutes for our return shuttle to arrive but was a great day

Went with Captain Tama rather than the other company as it was recommended by friends who had done it before. It didn't disappoint. The crew were funny, entertaining and helpful whilst snorkelling. Saw some amazing fish out there and the BBQ on 'No Touching Island' afterwards was delicious - fresh fish, BBQ banana, fresh fruit and salads. Enjoyed the coconut... More

Our introduction to Captain Tamas was not good. We had booked and paid for the Sunday tour weeks before arriving in Rarotonga. We asked our hotel reception to confirm our booking and pickup details, but were told that Sunday was unavailable - could we change to Thursday (the day before we left). Digging a bit deeper, it appears that a... More

Thanks for airing your views of the tour and the management to whom you did not speak with or meet. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication with block out dates. Whilst you may think we knocked back your booking for the more lucrative tours with the cruise ship passengers they did in fact pre-book all our boats in December of last... More

Absolutely stunning lagoon cruise. Staff were some of the most friendly people we met through our time on Rarotonga and were absolutely hilarious. Swimming was a blast and actually got to see a pufferfish and an Eel, no turtles unfortunately. The little shows they put on are hilarious aswell. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

A fabulous day. Very entertaining and highly informative. The snorkelling was fantastic. Up close with lots of very large fish. The lunch was great too.

Had a great time snorkeling in the protected reserve with plenty of marine life to see including turtles. The team at Tuma's werevery helpful and made the outing a great experience. after the snorkeling we were treated to a light lunch and a show/display of the Cook Island's culture and way of life. all in all a great day out... The whole tour was awesome! The on board crew were very fun, and the place were we snorkeled had some amazing fish which are pretty chill and just swim around you. The buffet at the end was really yummy, too! Partner was in the show at the end, which was a good laugh! Pretty chill atmosphere, really enjoyed it!

On holiday in Rarotonga, we decided to go on Captain Tama's Lagoon Cruise. What a fun day we had. Whilst the object is to go out and snorkel near the reef in the lagoon, the trip is in a glass bottomed boat so you can stay on board. You wouldn't see the myriad of little colourful fish that the snorkelers... More

It was good to have the opportunity to snorkel in the marine reserve as the snorkelling from Muri beach in front of the Pacific Resort is not great. Hosts were very funny and entertaining and provided great local songs and music before the trip and on the boat. The lunch was pretty good basic BBQ fish bread and salads and... More

Spent a enjoyable, fun day on the glass bottom boat cruise. The crew provided lots of laughs, the singing and music was brilliant and the lunch on the island was tasty and plentiful. The lagoon is beautiful to look at but unfortunately the snorkelling wasn't the best, as there wasn't that many fish, not a great amount of coral and... More

Thanks for posting a review. Yes, the lagoon is a bit of a problem but government is definitely working on resolving the problem sooner rather than later. Ka Kite! More
