A big open bus came and picked us up from our hotel and brought us to here. We were greeted with shell lei's and enjoyed our complimentary beverages as we sorted out registration. My husband and I decided to add on the culture education show and so we did that first and got to understand how their clothes were made,... More

We booked the dinner and show at the Te Vara Nui. Total cost for 4 adults $436 NZ. Pick up time was 6:15 in front of our resort. We got there at 5:50 because we are always early. We waited, and waited, and waited in pouring rain. At 6:45 we went to our resorts bar and asked them if them... More

What a cultural spectacle! It was great! We paid for the package which meant we went earlier and learned about the history of the island which was really interesting! Then onto a buffet dinner where all the food was to die for! The show was so good and made me want to get up with them! And desert after...just tipped... More

Cook Island version of a Hawaiian luau. Now that I've attended both, I prefer the Hawaiian experience, but this village tour and evening entertainment is a "must do" to learn more about the history of the Cook Islands. Great tour guide!! Very knowledgeable of her presentation topics. Her "twin" sister (and maybe triplets) was just as knowledgeable and entertaining. :)... More

If I rated this attraction solely on food, I'd have to give it one star. $109 a person for a two hour lecture, dry chicken and show, (and water not included) I only give it 3 stars because the dancers were quite good a definitely worked hard to entertain, and it was clear that performing in the show was a... Visited this venue again, with my mother and other family members for her 82nd birthday. Once again, lovely food and a great show. They really seem to enjoy what they do, everyone has huge beaming smiles throughout the show and they mingle with the crowd after and are happy to participate in photos.
